The information I am about to present is not new to me. It is new to you. But I feel you should all know. It concerns us all.
Watoad has a clone.
Upon my travels I occasionally encounter a being physically identical to Watoad. I knew him much before I knew TMK. He has been a friend of my brother's for many years. He is wholly unremarkable. Wholly unremarkable, that is, unless you know Watoad. They look exactly the same. They sound exactly the same. They act the same, have the same personality, and have the same sense of humor. They both now have the same haircut. It frightens me. It should frighten you.
I post this on the current date because he called me just now. It reminded me to do so. I occasionally work for him, searching through newspaper archives from 1940-1950 and recording all births, deaths, marriages, and divorces. I do this to help him with his Boy Scout Eagle project.
He feeds his workers pizza.
I work there tomorrow.
Somebody help me.

I know now of at least three FF members playing this delightful free game (David Dayton, Popple, me) and both of them who are not me have suggested forming a TMK clan on it.
I just made this thread for KoL players to talk about it here. Most importantly, post your username so the others can add you to their contact list. Mine is Lizard Dude.
For those of you not playing currently, it's a mostly text-based MUD that runs in your browser. This is much like Runescape, which some of you also play. KoL, however, is actually good. It also actually has professionalism, which the brainless rabid monkey creators of Runescape could never fathom. Hello capital letters. It actually has a quest you must undertake to prove that you can coherently communicate in the non-n00b chatroom.
Most importantly, it is well-written, imaginative, and witty. Text games like this used to thrive, but have mostly dried up today. Support good work. That's my motto (for games).
Thirdly, and this might be the clincher for some of you *cough*Watoad*cough*, the Adventure system prevents you from playing too much each day. You won't get addicted and spend hours on end trapped in their realm, or rather, you can't.
Let the adventure begin.

Penny Arcade The first big webcomic and still most professional today. Gaming-based. (#1)
Elf Only Inn A great satire of roleplaying chatrooms and forums. (#1)
VG Cats Cats...and video games...what more do you need? Great art and gags. (#1)
Nuklear Power - Home of 8-bit Theater An extrememly well done sprite comic based on FF1. (#1)
P I X E L A fantastic comic about the life of pixels. Deez, Chup, and I once had a good night reading all of these together. (#1)
Dinosaur Comics The exact same horrible six panel strip used every day, but the dialogue is incredible. (#1)
Counter Culture Snazzy comic about the horrors of working retail. And there's a ninja. (#1)
SLACKERS Life is for now, work is for later. I like this one because it parallels my slack-off college life. (#1)
Krakow Just like your old college days but with less homework and more succubus. (#1)
There, enjoy. I also have a few more great ones but deem the content too mature to post here. Email if interested.
