I just realized how delicate Turtlekid1's user name is.  Just remove the "Turtle" and replace it with "Stupid".

Today, I've decided I'll express a particular irritation in picture form...

I'm assuming no one will get this, but I'll wait 'till someone asks anyway.

Also, in searching a (potentially) more apt thread to post the above image, I came across this, which had not previously noticed. Anyone care to explain?

What was your pic originally of?

(I feel your pain, bro. The evil and vile and ilev Suffix has removed my pics before too.)

If a mod doesn't censor something every thirty minutes, a burly guy in a suit comes to their door and breaks one of their bones. Each mod is assigned one burly guy.

So I just got into this really awesome animu I discovered on youtube.

As cool as it is, the subject matter and the gratuitous skin shown off gurantees this will never be available in our side of the ocean. Especially annoying since at one point the manga was going to be localized but cancalled.

animu

Is this a typo, or some new internet term I have to deal with?

Not a typo and not new, but highly highly retarted (guess where it comes from).

Also, way to mention the name for us, Wiggles.

It's Kodomo no Jikan. I only refrained from saying it due to the 50/50 reaction it gets from those who have seen it. I mean, you either find it cute/funny/over the top, or you assume all the viewers are creepy grown men who will eventually end up on Dateline.

Funny considering it was written by a woman.

What [ticks] me off is that no anime, with only a few exceptions (Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Fullmetal Alchemist) is capable of actually interesting me. First off is the fanbase factor; pretty much the only reason so many people watch anime is because it's from Japan, which annoys me. Another is that they so so often have the same plots and, more annoyingly, sight gags.

But worst of all is that I'm afraid that if I mention watching anime to an anime nerd, they go into a six-hour tirade about Death Note or some nonsense. I'm speaking from experience here.
