I would say that it's more than likely, Mario being Nintendo's flagship franchise.

I can see them making a Mario Vs Donkey Kong on WiiWare.
Time is repeating itself. Why you say? Look at the Wii and NES and you'll know why.

Enhanced remakes, probably.

With the WiiConnect24, Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a no-brainer. Enhanced remakes with downloadable contant (free or not) would be awesome.

I'd like to see a graphically enhanced version of Donkey Kong Country or Super Mario RPG. Assuming they still have all their original source files, they could render them out at 24-bit and 480p. Too bad the Wii doesn't do HD, because HD versions would be even better.

Though those images are far larger than what would be used in HD resolution, and it looks like the graphics were retouched after resizing down to sprite size (something that should have been done in Mario vs. Donkey Kong).

I think they should make an updated version or Super Mario Land along with updated music, and release it for Wiiware.

Super Mario World with updated graphics and sounds would be freakin' awesome.

How about a "New Super Mario World" for the DS?

I really want to see Super Mario All Stars on the Virtual Console. Since the original NES versions are already on VC, Nintendo will probably not do it, right? Well, what if they made SMAS cost about 2100 Wii Points? It would make sense, because SMB, SMB2, SMB3, cost 500, plus the Lost Levels cost 600, so that would equal to 2100. I really hope Nintendo would consider this idea, because SMAS looks just plain awesome.

They would probably make it an even 2000 points as a marketing gimmick.
