For my wallpapers, I usually like scenes that depict a lot of depth, generally landscapes and seascapes.
Yes, I like blues and I like sunsets and I like seascapes. :P
Like this? ^

'nother StH desktop. I swear, that'll be one of the first games I get for the Revolution (in GC form, of course)
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.

I've been using the third wallpaper at http://mario.nintendo.com/

Too bad it's doubled on my monitors.  I've been thinking of going back to the world at night image that MegaByte posted.  Or, maybe I'll edit the Mario one to fit both screens width.

Heres my current wallpaper I just made on my 30-day version of Paint Shop Pro. It was fun!

This is one that I used for a very long time and liked.  I only switched recently.

I used this for a little while a long time ago.

Created on Paint Shop Pro, using my AIM screenname.  Admittedly a sloppy job, but OK.

I never used this one much, but its pretty cool.

Ok guys, I made this background over accumulated spare time. Feel free to challenge my work and count the Punies.
Here's the background.
Doesn't look too good when I'm using it...

Ultima, I got an M&L:PiT background that's pretty cool. Check it out. Or course, I didn't make that one, I'd have to be insanely good at Photoshop... Actually, that looks pretty good... I'm going to use it!
