I'm not terribly interested in console wars (besides never forgiving Microsoft for their full intentions to make the Xbone an utter crime against technology) but I'll say some things about them: the Wii U is the first console in a long time that has inherent features I really like. It's like the opposite of the Wii, which was all hype in theory and then less than amazing in practice. I didn't think much about Miiverse until I first used it and didn't realize the possibilities the semi-portability open up. It's pretty cool. So I naturally wish more games I'd want for PC or 360 were also on it*, except for the Wii U controllers' lack of analog shoulder buttons. That is my main complaint about it.
On the subject of non-Nintendos, I just got a killer PC and hope I can just keep that up-to-date as needed and never need a PS4... although downloads are still a hassle for me. And I'll miss out on an exclusive or two. Not that I'm counting on Microsoft to pay for exclusivity again when Capcom's Release The Same Thing Many Many Times Syndrome kicks in for Dead Rising 3.
*Except for when they're gifted to me on Steam or part of a Humble Bundle. Which accounts for three games I could have had on Wii U instead. Way to support third-party support for Wii U, me.
