Game Help / A Strange Mario Game

I have a friend who told me about a great Mario game where you play a 2-Player battle with Mario and Luigi, throwing shells, using fire flowers, magic cape and Yoshi! The game is for Super NES and he said it's called just Super Mario Bros. And he said the graphics are like Super Mario World. Well, do someone here know about this game?

There is something that i dont understand: what is Mario Excite Bike?? I know its a bike race type game, but why does it have so many versions? Is it for SNES?? Why does all the roms for this game doesn't work?? If they work, where could i get one?? And who produced it?
