Author Topic: Your Favorite Boss Character  (Read 8052 times)

In a lot of the Mario games there have been the bosses, the tough guys who you have to fight at the end of certain levels.  My question is:  Who is your favorite boss?

I would have to say that mine is a close tie between the Shadow Sirens and Doopliss, both in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.  They are both funny characters (the Shadow Sirens all have to be together to be funny, otherwise Beldam's just mean, Vivian's nice, and Marylin is dumb).  Plus, I found them fun, and interesting to battle against.  Just to find out what their powers were.  The fight music for them wasn't bad either.

Please share your opinions, and remember they can be from any of the Mario games.
Maybe there is more to me than there is to me...

My favorite, by far, is Doopliss. That guy is one great villian. My second favorite is Bowser.

Booster. SMRPG. You don't necessarily have to fight him, but he has some of the best dialouge in any Mario game.

Popple by far. He's funny, powerful, and he's got his own music. Dadada dun dun, da dun dun da da...

I''''ve noticed something amongst some people''''s signatures- they''''re not always perfektt.
If my son could decimate Lego cities with his genitals, I'd be [darn] proud.

For me it's a three-way tie between the Koopa Bros and their Bowser machine(in PM), Bowser/Kammy Koopa(in PM:TTYD) and Prince Froggy(in SMW2:YI). Also the Birdo fights in SMB2 are good also.

Off the top of my head...

Mouser from SMB2.
The giant eel from Mario Sunshine.
Sluggy the Unshaven from SMW2 (in fact, all the boss battles in that game were really clever).
Doopliss was also pretty cool, mostly for what happend *after* the battle. That like, blew my mind. ;)

Bowser, specifically at the end of SMW. The Koopa Clown Car is wicked and original.

Time slowed and Reality bent.
But on and on the Eggman went.
