If Peach was Bowser's baby momma, then the seven Bowser kids would be deformed human-reptiles, if that's even possible. But, the video game world isn't nessecarily that realisitic.

I start playing my old NES for hours straight, it's like I can't stop (but maybe that's a good habit). I find it strange that can play some of the really old games a lot longer than the new ones.
