Boo: "I really don't wanna do this...oh well! *SLURP!*" - Boo licks Goomboss, costing him 4 more FP points. Luckily, Boo gathered up an extra wad of spit, ending up doing 5 HP of damage on Goomboss, which makes him down to 9 HP!

Boo: 10/13 HP
6/14 FP
Condition=normal

Goomboss: 9/30 HP

And Goomboss attacks.....

Oh. Okay, Dry Bones, you get a Skeleton shroom, which powers up your BP. Wario, you get a steak, which increases yur weight & power, but you may miss some attacks. One more battle, and you guys are level 2!!

Peach: Gack! Toadsworth is so weak. After all, he's very old!
Toad: May I suggest a surprise?
Peach: Hmm... like what?
Toad: I say we send out Goomboss.
Peach: Oh, yes. Goomboss. He's already battling Boo and Fawful, isn't he?
Toad: You're right. We need another plan.
Peach: Way ahead of you. GOOMBOTS- attack Wario and Dry Bones!! Toad!!
Toad: Yes, your Royal Highness?
Peach: Bring me Luigi. NOW!!

Oh, and you may appear in the game... but the only two playable characters are Mario and Luigi. However, I have some resource problems- Luigi's background is opaque. Can you design a good RPG Maker battle character set?

Dry Bones: Thanks! But how much BP does this skeleton shroom give me and now that I have levelled up do any of my stats change?

About your problems with Luigi's background being opaque. If you can send those sprites to a hyperlink in your post. I guess I could try fixing them.

"BOO!!!" - Boo scares Goomboss, causing him to lose 2 HP points AND lose his next turn! Goomboss is too scared to attack! Goomboss is left with a mere 5 HP points. Go Fawful, Go!

Boo: "Well, actually if Goomboss had 5 HP left and you caused him 3 more, Goomboss has only 2 HP left now! BOO!!!" - Boo scares Goomboss, it does 2 HP of damage on him, but fails to petrify him (who cares? he's dead!)

Goomboss: "GAAAHHHHHHH!!!"

Boo: "HA! Take that you overgorwn mushroom....thing! Come on Fawful, lets go help Wario, Dry Bones, and Sir Grodus."
