Author Topic: Technical: Classic NES Series SMB reset?  (Read 3806 times)

On the GBA Classic NES Series SMB1, is there any way to completely reset everything the game's saved to memory? When I saved a high score, apparently the game saved my "second quest" status, and refuses to clear it through any combination of resets and deaths. Is there a code I'm not aware of, or was the battery backup feature just badly implemented?

Press START + SELECT + A + B buttons simultaneously.  If that doesn't work press the L + R buttons simultaneously to access the system menu.

I know it sounds dumb...but take it back to your store and get a new copy.
I think its busted.
