Whats everyones favorite? Mine is Super Mario Land 2... It's simply a perfect game!

Super Mario Land 2 is great. It introduced my favorite character Wario.

If you can count the Wario Land games, my favorite Mario handheld is Wario Land 2.

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga or Super Mario Bros Deluxe (if remakes count). Super Mario Advance 3 was pretty good as well.

I take it we're not counting Super Mario Advance titles?

I'd say Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.

Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (remakes better darn well count), but only a hair more than M&L, and they're both amazing games.

Yup, remakes count. Any mario/wario game available on a handheld counts.

Well, in that case, I'm not sure whether I like M&L:SS or SMA2 better.

Do the Wario Ware games count? Because Mega Microgames is brilliant.

Hmm... that's a tough choice. I'd say either Superstar Saga or SMA3. However, considering I sold SMA3 and have MLSS (my only GBA game left) it'd have to be MLSS.

I'm caught between the same titles as Turtlekid, although I have difficulty justifying remakes as full-fledged contenders.

I'd like to add that all of the SMA's I've played (all but 3) are quite good, I'd still have to go with SMBDX, though.  I logged so many hours on that Challenge Mode.  Dang it, Nintendo, why can't you appeal to the record-setting type anymore?

The "mustard of your doom" line alone makes me pick Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga.  Not to mention the innovative two-character gameplay, the expressive graphics, the soundtrack, the challenge, and the delicious humor.  But I've gushed enough about the game on these forums.

Ah, such gushing!

Unless your collection consisted entirely of licensed movie-based games, you must've traded in some of the best games Nintendo had to offer.

Thus, a dismay-stricken cat had to be posted.

Well the big games I had for the GBA were SMB3, MLSS, Pokemon Emerald, and Warioware Inc. The others were either smaller spinoff games or wasn't part of any series. Sometimes I regret giving them up. On another note, I try to stay as far away from movie-based games as possible.

M&L:SS followed by SMA4:SMB3.

Mario & Luigi: SuperStar Saga. Probably one of the best Mario handheld games for the GBA. Even after you beat the game, you can still go back to play some of its mini games (the barrel mini game is one of my favorites.) Super Mario Bros. Deluxe was another one of my favorite Mario handheld games.
