I'm aware, but was he actually IN the video games themselves?

No, but the ROB from Star Fox is a completely different character, so he was technically never in a game himself until Mario Kart DS.

I'm not talking about ROB from Starfox, either.

That boss that yammers about the "creator" is as much ROB as NAV-COM from Star Tropics or that big construction robot in the background of Port Town Aero Dive.

The NES games refer to R.O.B.'s existance, like you're trying to prevent him from being hacked or whatever, so it counts.

I totally don't understand the Daisy hate. Why waste time hating a legit character when you can hate other worthless characters like Petey Piranha or especially R.O.B.? Those two drive me insane each time they make appearances.

Why is Daisy any better than ROB? Personally, I don't think either of them are that great, but that's no reason to hate them.  They're just... there.  What are you gonna do?

Neither are better.

1. Daisy is a filler character. Case closed.
2. R.O.B. is a cheap idea of reviving an ugly robot. (Only to be perfected by SSBB)

At least Daisy was in an actual video game at one point, though.

I know it was good, and you know it was good, but apparently 1-UP.com doesn't know it was good.

Yes, it's pretty funny. (And the fact that it references SML itself is better)
