Author Topic: What are your greatest cartoons?  (Read 13823 times)

Jesus christ, Freakazoid. None of these cartoons you guys like are even pre-2000. Are your memories bad or did you just not watch cartoons when you were younger?

Maybe because they got cancelled because it was either bad or just plain stupid. Some of the best cartoons (like Futurama and Simpsons) and their old episodes that aren't pre-2000 doesn't mean that they're still good.

Yeah, you never watched cartoons. Some cartoons that were good enough to have long series eventually ended because that's what TV shows generally do. Your logic fails again.
That was a joke.

I have watched cartoons ever since I was a baby. And you're statemnet doesn't make sense to me. Generally a cartoon doesn't die beacasue it just does:

Reasons
1) Either the creator left the show and then crappy new episodes came baecuse of that, meaning ratings fell.

2) Not good ratings

3) Just plain stupid and dull, meaning, again, less ratings

4) Creator died

5) Creator runs out of ideas for new episodes, cancels it.

I think you're both wrong.  I liked Sesame Street when I was little.

No, if you're smart you don't keep a show going for years and years and years, recycling the same material over and over.
That was a joke.

My greatest cartoon is either TMK or TMK 2. I personally think TMK2 came out better, but others say that TMK 1 was better. Oh well.

Well, crap. I forgot about Naruto. Yeah, It's not much of a cartoon, but it's still funny. I like ninja's (Naruto has a ton of that). Naruto is my favorite anime, if that qualifies as a cartoon.

I like Ren and Stimpy, only that they got annoying when the recycled to many episodes. And pieced them together to make a new one. Like a clip show.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I was very young when Ren and Stimpy aired, and I understod none of it and was partially freaked out by them.  So I didn't watch them much.

Wahaha! I forgot about The Ren and Stimpy Show. I used to watch it when I was around four and I loved it! Sure it's creepy and weird, but so am I. So, we're like brothers from different but linked universes.
I also forgot Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. Now THAT is my greatest cartoon.

Suothpark is the most unintelligent and distastefull show that has ever been aired.

However, I love the Looney Toons, those were always the best. I also like Spongebob.
