The reason for him always wearing the saddle is because the games makers did it that way. It could be a shell but if Yoshi was able to partially remove it in SM64DS it's most likly not. In Yoshi's Island there's no proof that the Yoshi's where babies. If you want to discuss Yoshi and other things further then come to this site:

If you can, record your 15 secret stars in SM64. If your missing one make sure that you got all the 8 red coins in the Bowser levels. In the Rainbow Cruise ship level when you start out turn around and long jump to the pole. Don't mess around when your trying to get 100 coins, it's not worth the risk. In the pinguin slide area when you turn and your heading towards the wall get off the slide and try to land right in front of the hole leading to the caben. In the Tall Tall mountain slide right before you turn for the seond time get off and try to fall on the slide below you. Unless you know what your doing take your time ( applies for every game ). Use Watt all the time and everywhere in PM. There's no Star peices in Bowser's castle. When you get to Peache's deserted castle check all the rooms. Use Watt on Bowser. Power up your FP the most if your good at the PM series. That's some of my knowledge.

Here's the skinney, Bowser almost always uses the power of the stars to help him. Enventually the magic wrecks his mind into such a state that it drives him insane. This is somthing of a spin off of a story of Bowser's dad. Yes! The mysterys of the time before Mario shall be revield! I am the only human who knows it, I've been to the Mushroom World! Mario and co has told me everything! The great war of the Koopas greed will be told!

You mammels sound so funny. Why would you want those games in full color? How about making it for the DS or somthing with MUCH better sprites and levels and things. Since they were all really badly layerised.

When your playing that blast away the wall LEVEL shoot at the top corner of the wall thats sticking out from the main building. It's sharp and dark brown and if you look right you should see it. Got any other impossible questions?

For a while now I've been creating a story based on the game Yoshi's Island that would connect tons of things with the Mario universe. A war by Bowser's father and Mario's father. And some Dinosaur Land locals.

I want you all to take this VERY seriously. If I'm ever as lucky I might be able to make this a 3D animation movie. I've drawn most of it out in comic form.
This is not just another fan fic. I'm making this for anyone that's wondered what the Mushroom World was like before Mario was born.

It’s the graphic and dramatic story about Bowser’s father, and how he tried to enslave Dinosaur Land. It tells about the Power Stars and the story behind the Mario Bros movie and warps and everything else you can think of. Many good theories and ideas have gone into this. Most of these ideas have come from the site in my signature.

Remember, this is going to be a huge event in Mario Bros history. I don’t want any Mario Bros. and Yoshi fan to not see this.
