Why does "Mickey Unrapped" not sound like such a bad idea?

In related news, Song of the South was released on DVD today.

Wait, what? American Idol now has a save to rescue one contestant per season? That's it. I wasn't watching it before, but now I'll really not watch it now.

I realize there's a better day to post this, but there's something awesome about some forum making an entire thread doing the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody. It's two pages by the way.

Reminds me of my reaction playing F-Zero GX on Story Mode (difficulty doesn't matter, they're all synonyms for "Impossible"). Somehow, Draq punching the TV in his special cutscene wasn't adequate to describe what I wanted to do to the game. Speaking of freaky, someone should get the picture of the guy from Cube who gets the acid in his face and his face corrodes away.

Angst: I was typing up something recently in Notepad, went to open some other program, went back only to discover I accidentally closed Notepad and lost all my work. No, I didn't think to save it at all during that. And earlier before that, I was deleting old folders that screamed "delete me", forgetting that my only copy of another huge text file was in one of said folders. Naturally I emptied the recycle bin before I remembered about the file, so... yeah, it's gone forever too. Curse my momentary slips in computing. I guess I can also angst that there's that one Star Fox fan fiction I'll never see again, but I've given up on finding anyone who has it.

But that brings up the idea that this is why you have continues so you don't lose a bunch of progress when you lose all your lives. For something like Super Mario Bros. it's understandable, which seems better suited at an arcade anyway. For Super Mario 64, you're just going around collecting Stars at your own pace, and you're probably saving after each Star such that losing all your lives means you don't really lose any progress. So come to think of it, Super Mario 64 (and Galaxy by extension) doesn't need a concept of lives if you're just going to keep on playing the same areas and keep that game in the console. ...Now I understand the thread of having the 1-Up die. The only place I can think of for 1-Ups being useful are in the longer levels where you'll die a bunch of times trying to get to the end. ...and those certain levels in Galaxy where you die a bunch of times, always picking up the 1-Up along the way so that you essentially play indefinitely until you make it.

Which course was Tall Tall Mountain again? I didn't notice an abundance of lives there as I was too busy falling off the mountain. For losing lives, the course I have bad memories of the most is probably Hazy Maze Cave.

He reportedly said to the criminal, "aw, snap-it!" and exploded in morning glory.

...well that didn't come out right.

No, I like TV Tropes. It's just... I can't think of a series where I could fit characters into all nine groups.

But, b-but... the SNES was supposed to STOP all that! Oh wait, I bet you threw away the protective cover for the SNES cart like the rest of us did.

SMW. I'd vote again but I can't.

Before you go buying the latest Pokemon game or what have you, think about how long it will last, how replayable it is, and above all, fun. Sometimes a game doesn't need eye candy to be a sure winner. Sometimes waiting out that game would bring a better one later, and you won't have a hundred cartridges.
[something I don't practice myself, and to paraphrase Nintendo, waiting for the next big system means missing out on a bunch of great games now. Who said having a hundred cartridges is a bad thing?]

Just as good can prevail and sometimes lose the battle but never the war, evil is just as capable.
[I think what I meant to say is "good and evil will always exist", but I made it sound like evil can kick our butts just as well]

Everyone's beliefs are right in their own way. So then it's up to you whether to believe me or not.

I wasn't aware anyone used that feature. If you need a smiley to clarify the intent of a topic title, then you need a new topic title. That's like putting a question mark at the end of something to indicate you're not really saying Super Mario Bros. is the worst videogame ever made, you're just asking.

As for Fox asking for a custom title, what I learned over at MystCommunity is to not ask for a title or else the moderators will give you a humiliating one. Some forums let you pick a custom title. Some don't. Some don't give you the option until you've reached a number of posts. Me, I got a title through the honorable way of shutting up and being patient. It was "wamakaskanskan" (it means "spirit" in Lakota, it was chosen because of the film "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron" floating around at the time, but to everyone else it's just a nonsensical word that you can't say without laughing).

*looks at my profile* Um, for picture/text it says "Likes dolls". ...what?

Oh so there is a limit. Personally I thought the Harem thread was really pushing it. Is it pushing it if official art is posted? ...maybe.

Seriously though, Ma Mole. Love her. Glorb has an obsession with Freeman that we can joke about, and I found I had an obsession with a female mole. So that's one more thing you can joke at my expense if you'd like.
