I can't speak for all the nerds here, but I spent Valentine's Day with my girlfriend.

Were you playing hentai games?

No, but we did play a couple of rounds of Melty Blood: Act Cadenza (a non-ero sequel to a non-ero sequel to an eroge), during which we made the unfortunate discovery that my Gravis Gamepad Pro seems to be having trouble with accepting 236 inputs.

my Gravis Gamepad Pro seems to be having trouble with accepting 236 inputs.

That's the best euphemism I've ever heard.

Our school promoted these dorky "Valentine's Week" activities including "Wear Pink/White/Red Day", a Jello-eating contest, and a Newlywed Game rip-off.

That can't even really be taken as a euphemism. Maybe if I had been talking about an arcade stick rather than a gamepad, but as it is now, no.

And you only think those activities are dorky because you don't have a girlfriend, and your boyfriend was banned from the forums.

Warp, that was pretty cold.

Don't you think Weegee is already taking this hard enough? He doesn't need anyone else reminding him of this tragedy.

Also, I can't find any clearance candy. Once again, the stores fail to stock items for me.
As a game that requires six friends, an HDTV, and skill, I can see why the majority of TMK is going to hate on it hard.

For what it's worth, my English teacher jokingly gave out those anti-Valentine's Day candies. Mine said "Booty 2 Big".

EDIT: In light of current news, these spoony theatrics have been deemed unnecessary.

I didn't see it either, but it's not too difficult to put two and two together.

I'm sure it was some comment about how Glorb was "unjustly" banned, made even more unnecessary since it's only temporary.

Actually, I dedicated a song to our "lost love", still under the assumption that he was gone for good. If that had been the case, I would have called it unjust. However, I suppose his temporary ban is understandable.

As of about two and a half hours ago, I officially have a girlfriend.

...I have no idea what this is, but I like it. A lot.

Is it her, or is she now merely another "vestige of a time gone by"?
