The Dark Mario Wars

Does anyone remember them? What do you think their impact was, overall?
The greatest one I can think of is the fact that I'm around. (For those of you from ESS: What do you think ESS would have been like w/o me/DM wars?)

Well, I don't think that many people knew about the Dark mario Wars in early '99.... since It was at the VERY Old SMBHQ board, then moved to ESS, and had subsequent, ailbet totally stupid and idiotic wars after that.

I don't think they had a huge impact, if at all, it impaced those who took place in it and ESS.
