First off, frostbite you are insane aflicted snowboarding victim, boo was right to warn me. also thanks for the reply but the game was sadly not gradiud. Gradius is a sidscrolling game, my phantom game was an above head veiw forward scrolling game. Hopefully this will clear up any gradius misconceptions.

Mario Chat / A link to Mario Bros

Everyone knows the "link" between zelda and smb3 right? The whirlwind/tornado thingies that are sommone by flutes and the music played is the same. Well i have spoted yet another "borrowed" idea from zelda to smb2. Anyone who has played zelda knows those weird sorcorer magic people who shoot magic and links magic wand right? well the sound that is made there is the same as the sound that the the drangon boss thing (im bad with names) makes when it shoots its eggs in smb2 for nes! are there any other thing that mr. myimoto(sp?) "borrowed" in these nes titles?

Hello Hello, I am new to join "the Mushroom Kingdom" and all I really know is from my friends The Big Boo & Spiky BlueShell (sp?)is that frostbite is a name to remember.....

Anyway my point is that years ago (90-94) I can remeber playing my tresured NES, and loving games such as Zelda and Mario but when recently I fired up the old NES I had a problem my absolute favorite game was missing along with a few others, this was the game that eternaly bonded me with the nintendo line and tradicaly it was taken away! My purpose for writing this is that I dont know the name of the game! considering my reading skills where not that great at the time. It was a 2D above head space ship style game with tons of levles, a regular blaster as well as special weapon power ups, eradicating the entire screen of enemys it had ship power ups that made your ship wider and wider and increased your width of fire it had a boss to each levle as well as a sub boss, any information leading to the capture of this game would be greatly appreciated.
