to nintendoexpert89:
Thank you for sharing my point of view!

And to all the Wii Fit haters... How can you hate the game when it came from the mind of the legend himself, Shigeru Miyamoto?!

I don't understand why everyone is hating the direction Nintendo takes in their games. WAH it's Apple white, WAH it can use Miis, WAH I'd rather use my GameCube controller, WAH, WAH, WAH. People are so preoccupied with maintaining a "hardcore pr0-gamer" image that they never give anything new or slightly "out there" a chance. The people who are complaining about Wii Fit are the ones who have never played it.
Ironically, these are the types of games that sell most. (Brain Age, Nintendogs...) Nonetheless, this happens to many games, I'm afraid. Like there are not some people here who have never touched a particular game since its purchase...
This is the same as "Why buy a Wii when you can buy a racket and a tennis ball for $10? Or why get Brawl when you and a friend could fight each other for free? Or Mario Kart when you could actually drag race?" Know why you buy it? Because it's fun!
...except it's a normal condition for humans to want signs of success for the things they do.

I own Wii Fit and I love it. I had been looking forward to it ever since E3 last year. I've had a lot of fun with it, and it's pretty addictive. I usually don't exercise (if you don't count half-hour walks almost every day) and my previous moments of working out were my worst and most miserable, and this game has convinced me to keep a healthy lifestyle. I myself am getting results from the Yoga and Strength Training exercises, and I love its selection of Balance games. Nintendo's goal to expand its audience is working; my sister bought a Wii just so she could play it herself.

I bought it used about a week ago. But all the buttons seemed to be working fine when I bought it. They just feel soft when I press down on them.

I know that it must be a normal result of wear, but does it mean the buttons will break eventually?

I meant the buttons are getting a mushy feel to them. They actually feel like they are being depressed into the PSP.

Video Game Chat / Wii Fit: Brilliant idea or retarded gimmick?

I've been reading the articles in which Satoru Iwata of Nintendo interviews his staff members on the various games they work on. The article on Wii Fit really sheds some light onto how hard the team worked on that project. When Shigeru Miyamoto originally pitched the idea to his team, many of them had no idea what he was talking about. "A game where you measure your weight" is what he told them; and they basically had to take that simple concept and create an entire game out of it.

So have any of you guys tried Wii Fit? What do you think?

I got kicked out of my house. I am not kidding.

Heck, most of this year has been pretty bad for me.

Why did that happen?

The buttons on my PSP seem a bit loose; they have a soft feel when pressed (they don't have a "click" feel to them). Is that a defect, or is it normal?

I mainly play Street Fighter Alpha 3, Crazy Taxi fare Wars, Parappa and Megaman Powered Up on it. I need to get around to getting Chains of Olympus and some of those RPGs.

I just got Mega Man Powered Up and I must admit I am hooked on it. I haven't tried any of the single-player modes yet, I'm having too much fun creating ultra-hard stages to mess around in!

Oh, and God of War: Chains of Olympus is amazing. (all the God of War games are)

Funny that this is a Mario/Nintendo forum and we're all talking about PlayStation... My fault, sorry. :)

I mean, I don't think I'd get my full refund on the PSP since I no longer have the reciept. Actually, I might keep the PSP, but I need to buy a new one, because the buttons feel loose.

Yeah, I bought the PSP mainly for the "extra" features such as music playback and the Internet browser. I have a few good games like the Sega Genesis Collection, GTA: Vice City Stories. But I've noticed the PSP doesn't have much variety in games as the DS. PSP games are pretty much dumbed-down PS2 ports, and that is partially why I wanted to buy one, since a PSP is basically like a portable PS2. But on the other hand, the DS has more original games like New Super Mario Bros, Nintendogs, Trauma Center, Brain Age, Advance Wars, Castlevania, Mario Kart DS, Pokemon, etc.

I guess I'll go back to GameStop and trade in my PSP with the 4 games I bought and get a DS instead.

How much would I get for it? The PSP was $145 (used), and I bought 3 used games (Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops +, Sega Genesis Collection, GTA: Vice City Stories) and 1 new game (Sonic Rivals 2). How much would I get for all that?

I recently bought a used PSP and now I am thinking I should have bought a DS Lite, since it has more variety of games (plus, the PSP doesn't have Nintendo games).

So was buying a PSP a wrong decision? Should I go trade it in for a DS Lite?

Anyone want to share their opinions on this game?

Do console sales really matter? I mean yeah, the GameCube was killed by the PS2, and the PS3 is being killed by the Wii. But in the end can't they all just get along?

All game systems have unique features that certain people like over others. Does it really matter who "wins"?

By the way, pretty interesting role reversal for Sony and Nintendo, huh?

Their relationship has been around this level since September of 1991:

Of course, this does raise the question of what he was doing flirting with Rosalina and Eclair. Maybe they have an understanding.

Did you draw that? Really good!
