Mario Chat / The final N64 game...
« on: October 26, 2001, 06:54:42 PM »
And no, it's not Mario. It's some weird game with anime children in a classroom fighting monsters. It came oout last week. I think its called "Power Girls Extraction" or something.

It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, it's a matter of common sense! (half empty or half full?)

I finally beat it! I'm overflowing with joy. Bowser was a little easier than I expected though. It took me 11.75 years to beat it, but I finally did! Whoo hoo!

Mario Chat / Wachibi and Watuna?
« on: October 20, 2001, 12:09:14 PM »
I'm pretty sure David Dayton was lying in the mailbag when he said that the Wario Bros' girlfriends were in the japanese version of Mario Tennis but taken out for the american version because of the way they dressed, but does anyone here have the japanese version of Mario Tennis?

Mario Chat / the chancellor is not Peach's dad: Proof Inside!
« on: October 11, 2001, 02:40:27 PM »
First of all obvisously, Peach is a human and the chancellor is a mushroom. still need proof? I got this definition from an online feudal dictionary

CHANCELLOR: The officer of the royal household who serves as the monarch's secretary or notary. The chancellor is responsible for the Chancery, the arms of the royal government dealing with domestic and foreign affairs. Usually the person filling this office is a Bishop chosen for his knowledge of the law.

So there! He's just the king's secretary!

Two things:
1. How do you beat the single player game?
2. How do you get all the characters for the mario minigames?

It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, it's a matter of common sense! (half empty or half full?)

Mario Chat / Bowser's name mentioned in 1990 in the US on accident
« on: October 02, 2001, 02:30:23 PM »
In one episode of The Adventures of Super Mario 3 where they're all in giant land, and i'll just write the whole scene down:

Bower: At last, you did some rotteness worthy of a Koopa. I'm so proud of you, Koopalings. Now you'll see why I modestly, heh heh heh, call myself a genius. Poodle wand, do your stuff!
(Prince Hugo gets turned into a poodle)
Peach: Oh no! Poor Prince Hugo!
Bowser: It's the small things in life that make a Koopa happy. Hahahaha!
Koopa Kids: Yeah!
Bowser: Now that my plan is complete, it time to turn you bsck to normal size.
Blue headed kid: But pop, we're having so much fun being stink lying giant cheat ninja koopas!
Morton: Couldn't we stay like this and capture a few more kingdoms?
Bowser: That's a cruel, rotten, disgusting idea... and I love it! Hahaheheh! I'll use this ninja wand later.
Koopa kids: Yeah! For he's a jolly good Koopa, for he's a jolly good koopa!
(Mario trys to open the cage in which Peach, Luigi, and Toad are trapped in)
Mario: Grunt! I can't get it open! I got a way to trick old Koopa, but we'll have to work together. Listen close...
Koopa Kids: For he's a jolly good Koopa, which nobody can deny.
Morton: So, what kingdom are we giant ninja Koopas gonna conquer first?
Ludwig: Water Land!
Iggy: Desert Land!
Bowser: Quiet Koopalings, I'm the king, I'll decide which kingdom we're gonna take over!
Mario: You're not taking over any land, you BOWSER Koopa!
Bowser: What?!?
Koopa Kids: Gasp!
Mario: Free my friends and turn Prince Hugo the poodle back into Prince Hugo the Huge, or else!

So you can see, either Mario knew Bowser's name all along, or the japanese script writers made a mistake.

It's not a matter of optimism or pessimism, it's a matter of common sense! (half empty or half full?)

I only know one: Koopa Troopas that aren't Koopa Troopas are Shell Creepers. (Mario Bros. arcade game)

Bowser seems to be a spiked galapagos tortoise.

I always thought that a retainer was an not very widely known position in the feudal system. (kings, lords, barons, etc.) I looked up the word retainer yesterday and there were many definitions. One is something you put in your mouth to keep your teeth from shifting or something. Retainer is also kind of a verb, example- to keep a lawyer on retainer. A retainer is also some sort of servant, but it didn't give much information on what kind or anything.
