Mario Chat / "Super Mario 128": Speculation...

Hey, people...
As long as Miyamoto does not want to share his "little" secret yet, how's about we do a bit of speculation for the next Super Mario platformer on the Nintendo GameCube?

Here's some things we would like to discuss about Mario's next adventure:
-The final title of the game.
-What type of story would occur?
-What sort of problem would be going on?
-Who's the enemy, is it Bowser, or someone else - old or new enemies?
-Does the princess get kidnapped as always?
-Will Luigi go adventuring with Mario again?
-Will we see some old characters in this game, or weird brand new characters will appear?
-Will the levels be gigantic?
-What type of graphics?
-Would the characters change physical or fashional appearance?
-Will there be new personalities on our beloved characters?
-How difficult can this game be?
-Will there be extra features?
-Will there be more puzzles?
-Will the storyline be acceptable by all audiences? Better yet, will the storyline offer more surprises and solve certain Mario mysteries we always wanted to know?
-AND most importantly, as Mr. Miyamoto promised us, will this be the best Super Mario game ever? With all new-freshness and Mario himself going to be more mature?

Okay, gang, let's speculate!!

Mario Chat / Mushroom Kingdom: What's your quoting?

Hey, people!
I'd like know how do you define the Mushroom Kingdom in your own words...
For example, there is this guy called Randy S., his definition of the Mushroom Kingdom is that it is "the place where mushrooms make you grow, and where turtles fly (he was refering to Parakoopas)!"
Okay so his definition of the Mushroom Kingdom is based on the old school Super Mario games; nevertheless, that is his definition, and that's how he quotes it!...

What's your definition of the Mushroom Kingdom?

Er... me? My definition? The Mushroom Kingdom, and I quote, is "a place where fungus has evolved and amazingly fantastic legends are created!"

Mario Chat / Have you ever noticed...?

This is something I just recently realised...



You know, whenever we go do some fanart or fanfic (or maybe even watch the cartoons and see that thing done) and it’s based on the same old Super Mario concept of him rescuing the princess and all, people always tend to make Bowser put Peach under some sort of thing to keep her in one place, like cages, chains, etc.



However, in the games themselves, not even once have I ever seen the princess inside a room with at least metal bars at any window!!



I should say that’s so weird for Bowser to keep the princess in such escapable places placed with only guards at the front door (this part is based on Paper Mario.)



What do you guys think?

Oh no!!

IGN just announced that Nintendo and Namco are planning to make a sequel to Donkey Konga after its first release!!

Tell me it ain't true that there will be no more Donkey Kong Adventure Games!!!

Mario Chat / Mysteries of Super Mario's Past - File #1

Here's the case:
It is known that Mario once had a pretty girlfriend named Pauline. Most people believe Mario was forced to leave Pauline because he and his brother, Luigi, left Brooklyn for the Mushroom Kingdom forever...
However, it is known that the source of this information actually comes from DiC's Super Mario cartoon syndicates (nobody really knows why this information is the most acceptable...)
On the other hand, according to the official Nintendo's Super Mario storyline, Mario was part of the Mushroom Kingdom ever since he was born!! That means Pauline could be part of the Mushroom Kingdom too!! The point: Why did Mario really leave Pauline? And what of Pauline?.....

Mysteries of Super Mario's Past is an organization I created to make people realize and discuss certain issues from the past of Mario's history that can affect his future... someday. These discussions do not really answer these mysteries, but somehow gives shared views to expose acceptable biases on these situations.
