What is the oddest Mario power-up that exists?

It's a tie between Frog and Tanooki Mario; I never imagined Mario/Luigi dressing up like cats, frogs, etc. Plus, it looks pretty uncomfortable. A full cat suit in a castle full of boiling lava, or crouching most of the way through a level seems...

The Bunny Suit! Like, a combination of the Frog Suit and the Bunny Ears (from SMB3 and SML2 respectively). Unlike the Frog Suit, it wears off when you touch water or take damage.

What it does: Jump higher, hold A to hop, can go through narrow passages.

Who's the manager of this hotel? These pillows are exactly .0000001 of a millimeter to small! And this complementary Koopa Juice is AWFUL! No wonder Bowser's frowning on the juice box!

I applaud the fried Goomba, and I do admit; it's rather cool to have a room next to Luigi.

Jump on him 128 times and he'll let you play as Wario. In addition, he opens up the passage to Waluigi in SM64DS; just connect your DS to the Wii and presto! A door will appear with an upside-down L on it; go into it to play as Waluigi. His Power Flower power lets you do a quest to play as Toad.

Really,  he just gives you a new power-up called the Red Star. It lets you fly around the observatory in your awesome black & red duds.

They made such a success with NSMB and it was a really fun game; they should make the same with Super Mario Bros. 2 & 3. It would be cool to see 3-D Mario/Luigi/Peach/Toad plucking vegetables, or 3-D Raccoon, Hammer, Tanooki, and Frog Mario. Also, they could do this for SMW and YI (maybe not 'cause of YIDS).

I just hope the DS doesn't die out by the time Nintendo thinks about this.

SM64DS - Yoshi + Better levels + More stars = Awesome

I really don't get Yoshi as a playable character. He's pretty worthless unless you're riding him.

Luigi will tell you he is not interested in joining your party, but he will give you a new power-up. It is called the Direct Super. It will upgrade the game's graphics to SM64DS graphics. Also, you will be able to access the character select room from SM64DS. The L button menu will be gone, and you will have to go to the castle to switch characters. Side note: After talking to Luigi in Yoshi's Island, you will leave the stage. You can go back and talk to him any time. That is, until you unlock him as a playable character!
