I've heard a lot about battery failure, especially in old games, and it's kinda always been a concern of mine, but I've never had a problem with any game...except for Donkey Kong for game boy...so I bought a new one and it's fine.

I just think the whole idea of having to clean up paint off an island is some storywriters drug fantasy.

Yeah they changed it to look a bit more like the first one, I've always wanted to play the original.  Still, at least we got to play the first 8 worlds of it.

SMBDX was pretty cool.  They didn't ruin it with upgrades or terrible voiceovers, it had a challenge mood which was really awesome, a vs. mode, and lost levels, race boo, and all that extra cool stuff like photos and what not.  That was one port I did appreciate.

Spike kind of looks like a shorter version of Lemmy.  Kinda makes you wonder about the relation that these bad guys have with Bowser...are they nephews?  Spawns?  Genetic mutations?  Even Boom Boom kind of resembled a Koopa Kid...maybe he was a rejected one or something.

they're both dinosaurs, but its still pretty messed up...I mean...the original Mario 2 said it was actually a confused guy, which makes it all the more messed up that people would find it to be a turn on.  I'm shuddering!

Rewinding back to what I was saying before, a good example would be that it's very hard to find the classic mega man games individually, but they released that mega man collection on gamecube and a mega man x collection too.  why not with mario?  they even did it (somewhat) with zelda games on that anniversary thingy.

yeah, plus it was too short...and driving a boat?  well then that's just...wow.  I didn't think wooden boats could navigate so easily through lava.  Where's the fire snakes?  Those spinning fire things from SMB and SM64.  Nope, just drivin a boat.  Don't rock the boat!  Don't tip the boat ova!  :D
