I've always wanted to know...what's everyone's favorite Kirby game?

For me, it's Kirby DL 3 for the SNES. It had nice graphics, beautiful and catchy music, nice bosses and enemies. It was THE game that Kirby fans were asking for, and they got what they wanted. A Dreamland game in color (along with fantastic gameplay.)

I haven't played a ton of Kirby games, but my vote goes to Canvas Curse. It's such a unique game and makes wonderful use of the DS's strengths.

I have a hard time deciding which one is my favorite, because I've played/possesed so many of them. Currently, I've been playing a bit of Kirby Superstar (specifically Milky Way Wishes).

I absolutley loved every Kirby game that I have come into contact with. The games are usually not overly hard, and are fun to pick up and play just whenever.

I remember it. I didn't really like it though. It was a tough one at that.

Kirby Super Star was awesome. Getting every treasure in The Great Cave Offensive will keep you busy for awhile. Kirby's Adventure was also great. Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Kirby 64 had their moments as well.

For me it's probably a tie between Super Star and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror, with KDL3 close behind.

Amazing Mirror. They got rid of the Ball power, yeah, but it still had a wide range of powers (Smash FTW) and some awesome levels that all came together at one point or another. I didn't play much of the co-op mode (only once do I remember) but from what I did I can tell it's good. The music's good, the challenge of getting everything is good (does ANYBODY have more than 99%?), the game is good.

I liked Amazing Mirror the best, because of it's non-linear maps that made you go out and find the mirror shards on your own. That was fun, being able to search on your own and having a feeling of accomplishment when you found a new area. Also, Master is the best Kirby ability ever. Seriously. Smash was pretty cool though. And the ammount of extras was massive in scope.

Of course, my opinion on best Kirby game will probably change when KSS is released on the VC.

My personal favorite is Kirby's Adventure. It is the longest Kirby game (that I've played, me no play Kirby and the Amazing Mirror or Dream Land 3, tried 64 but not beaten) and it introduced the powers, pushed the NES to it's sound and graphic quality limits and was just plain fun.

kIrby's Dreamland because it's easy. And the Mint Leaf/Curry items rule!

Although the 'Darth Maul' combo from Kirby 64 is awesome!

Kirby's Adventure and Kirby's Avalanche are two of my favorites.

Kirby's Adventure was the first Kirby game in color, everything before was in black and white.

Kirby's Avalanche was the Puyo Pop puzzle game I played.

Kirby Super Star and Kirby and the Amazing Mirror are definitely my favorite games in the Kirby series. Kirby Super Star had Wheelie Rider Kirby, a flight sequence, and Arena Mode, in addition to a two-player co-op mode. Kirby and the Amazing Mirror had narratively-justified 4-player co-op, a bevy of new powers, and a map that encouraged extensive exploration and non-linear progression.

For me, it's always been Kirby Tilt n' Tumble. I got it for Christmas when I was but a wee lad, and instantly ripped it open, ignoring the packaging and manual. When I found that my attempts to control Kirby with the D-Pad were futile, I gave up and called the game stupid. Until my aunt pointed out that the game uses motion-sensing to roll Kirby around, at which point I was excited beyond words and spent the rest of the day in my room playing it (until someone announced that I had gotten a Hot Wheels track set...I'm a sucker for Hot Wheels).

Ah man, I forgot about tilt 'n tumble. It was frustrating at times, but that added to it's charm.

Yes, I do. My favorite Kirby game is perhaps Kirby Squeak Squad. It's very addicting, even when I already beat it. The Ghost Power is awesome, you get to take control of most enemies. I also liked how you had items at the bottom, sort of like an inventory. Sure, it may seem a little easy, but it puts a thought in your brain about what you should or should not bring with you. It had more script and plot twists than other Kirby games as well. The Boss Endurance in the game is very hard. It took me at least a month to beat it with all the powers (Including no power) without using a Maxim Tomato, but with some powers, it was completely impossible (Wheel, Ghost, and probably something else I forgot).

In addition to the two games I mentioned in my previous post, Kirby's Avalanche, Kirby's Dream Course, and Kirby's Pinball Land are some of my other favorite games in the Kirby series. Kirby's Avalanche was the game that introduced me to Puyo Pop, and Kirby's Pinball Land was the first Kirby game I actually owned (anything I played before it was emulated), and Kirby's Dream Course...I don't even need to say anything about Kirby's Dream Course.

It truly is possible to get 100%, as I have done it. Also, Amazing Mirror is definitely my favorite, with Super Star in a close second. I actually never played the Co-op in AM, but it seems as if it would be good.

Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. It had a great plot, huge levels, and it was a challenge for once (most Kirby games are way too easy for my tastes). It took me a while to get 100% (yes, I've done that).

I also like 64 and Squeak Squad. 64 was my first Kirby game, and I still like its large levels and good music. Squeak Squad, I didn't like it quite as much as Amazing Mirror, but it also had a good plot and it added great replay value to collect all of the treasures. Still, it was too easy, especially considering that Dark Nebula was easier than the Daroach fight before him!

I'm also fond of Tilt 'n' Tumble...Gah, I haven't played a Kirby game in a long time. I should play Amazing Mirror or Squeak Squad sometime.

I haven't played any Kirby game that came out before 64, except for Adventure on an emulator (and Nightmare in Dream Land). I just got Super Star on an emulator, though...let's see if it's as good as everyone says.

Canvas Curse, despite having sucky mini games, was great. Nifty gameplay (with some difficulty, even!), great music and sound, decent graphics, and unlockable players for even a bit of replay value. I have about 25 medals left to get...
Edit: Well, beating the game's not hard... getting all those blasted medals, though...

I've only played Crystal Shards, and I remember always getting stuck in I think Rock Star when I was younger.

Funnily enough, in the only Puyo Puyo game in the series, he uses regular English. He doesn't say "puyo puyo" at all.

I like Kirby's dialog and voice from that game. It makes him look like a hothead, which explains why he was so quick to lash out at DeDeDe for stealing the Star Rod, and gt so angry at the Squeaks for stealing his cake.

^ Never heard about that one... sounds good! My original copy's battery broke, so the files keep erasing...

To be honest, I think that Amazing Mirror actually wasn't that good, and Squeak Squad was downright sad. Canvas Curse was so-so, and I've never played Crystal Shards (c'mon, Virtual Console!). Bring out the long-delayed console Kirby, already! Besides, he's already filled his two-game portable quota.
