I havn't read any of the main trilogy, but I read the Hobbit (or for you Europeans, There and Back Again). For some reason, Bilbo Baggins kinda reminds me of Toad, and Gandolf reminds me of Kamek (that's me!), but a good version of him.

I always seem to associate Lord of the Rings with Riverdance for some reason...

I think Waluigi would be perfect for Riverdance. That way, everyone would want him to get off the stage.

What about the book ''Indian In The Cupboard?'' Could that work as something to put Mario characters in?

Maybe Wario could be the indian (which would be good reason to keep the cupboard shut), and Luigi could be Patrick.

That reminds me, what would Yoshi look like as an indian? Well, he would still look cute.

Omigosh no, don't even JOKE about ruining LOTR with Mario characters.  A Mario parody maybe, but the worlds of Mario and LOTR are completely paralell.
