While lightly seasoned, lightly salted fries rule over all, I prefer seasoned fries to regular. Curly fries.

At my college, they're called "seasoned loops." My college is kind of dumb sometimes. But that doesn't change the fact that they're the best tasting food ever.

I usually don't eat fries, but the fries they offer at my school are seasoned well.  I guess they aren't regular then.  I like In'N'Out's animal fries too.  But I never eat there either

I've got a local burger stand or two in my town that serve kickin' fries with this awesome spice on 'em. They're the long, zig-zaggy kind.

While most fires are good, flavored fries are best. Onion rings still beat fries in every single way.

Does crinkle-cut count as a separate type? Where are wedges for that matter? >:|

The poll is really about plain/salted vs. seasoned. For most restaurants that's dumbed down to regular vs. curly.

Actually, they're not called "french fries" because they're from France--they're Belgian. "French" refers to the way they are cut ("frenched").

That, of course, makes the France-hating Congressional Cafeteria's changing of "french fries" to "freedom fries" all the more asinine.

You know what's really good? Waffle fries. I could really go for some of those right now.

[darn], it's one in the morning. Where I gonna get waffle fries now?

Curly fries are also awesome.

I can't believe no one caught this:

French fries are actually made in Greece.
