Acually I was referring to Zelda's water temple.
...I was too, Water Temple from Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Is there a water temple in Super Mario Sunshine that I'm unaware of?

I thought the entire game was a water temple.

To me, water levels are not horrible, but I always find it really annoying. So when Super Mario Sunshine came out I think Nintendo just told me to screw myself.

But then I actually did like Sunshine.

Bloopers have led me to despise SMB 1 and 3's water levels.

As far as SMB3 goes, I suppose I should mention World 8.  Like, the whole thing, but especially 8-2.  I hadn't gotten a single Game Over until World 8.  Then I couldn't beat it no matter what I did.  Took me forever to finally get past it.

I think you people just don't play enough video games. SolidShroom's mention of Shattered Soldier is the only thing mentioned that comes close to the Gradius III cube rush.

How about, I dunno, fighting Jedah in Vampire Savior? Medicine Melancholy in Phantasmagoria of Flower View? Dust of Osiris in Melty Blood: Actress Again? Anyone in Twinkle Star Sprites?

By "beat" do you mean you actually finished the game, or do you mean you used continues? Because if you used continues you didn't beat anything.

STAR FOX ADVENTURES TEST OF FEAR

What about the Lightfoot strength test? I'm ashamed to say that I got my father to do that for me. I guess it's not too difficult now because I've learned how to mash the button rapidly by vibrating my finger. Which reminds me, the Solidus choke scene on European Extreme in Metal Gear Solid 2 just about killed me (it's many times harder than the Lightfoot test). The rest of the game is mere peanuts compared to that part.

The most annoying part of Mega Man Battle Network 3 was when you were stuck in Mega Man Mode, I don't remember what it's called, and you can't jack out.

OH GOD THIS

I didn't find that section of MMBN3 that annoying. Did you people not keep a Roll chip in your deck or something?

Why the heck has everybody played Mega Man Battle Network 3?

« Reply #43 on: October 18, 2010, 06:41:37 PM »
Because not everyone is exactly like you? Stupid question man.

And yeah, I kept a Roll chip in my deck. It was my first time through though.

LD has a point, though: It's a pretty obscure game for so many people to have played.

And yeah, I kept a Roll chip in my deck. It was my first time through though.

That's the best euphemism I've ever heard.
