When I was ten, we had a black athletic teacher, who made us do 3 times as much work as the Grade 8 students!

I've been a Mario fan since I wass 3 or 4, and I've been an internet Mario fan since 10 or 11!

is there a reason why you threw in there that your teacher was black?what does that have to do with anying you were saying?

Well, I'm 21 and you know what gets me? All these part-timers who think they know everything about Mario when the only games they've played are Mario 64 and Mario Tennis. Never seen a NES in their life.

I wasn't having a go at anyone in particular - sorry if you thought I did - but it needs to be said. It's when people change the long-standing things of the Mushroom Kingdom that it annoys me, like when people (usually n00bs) start giving Princess Toadstool other names that don't suit her, and making up blatantly incorrect stuff about Goombas and Koopas etc. Also I have read a real, live, English Super Mario Bros instruction manual for the NES. So I do know what I am talking about.

I'm 14. And I've got to say I am spoiled, and I HAVE an NES, I've had it since birth, well not really, the old one died out and then a few months later we got the new version, but I'm kind of getting off topic here.

I just turned 14 in September.  Red Yoshi, it's cool that your 10.  I enjoy talking to younger people about Mario, expressing my feelings about it, and maybe even teaching a lesson or two!

Anyway, I've played alot of Mario games.  I haven't played:

Any Mario Virtual Boy Games
Wario Land 2
Any Mario Tennis or Mario Golf
Mario & Wario (was it released here?)

There's a couple more.  I have an NES.  In fact, most of my knowledge comes from the NES.  Some might say they are true Mario fans, and not even know that the full names are Princess Peach Toadstool, or King Bowser Koopa.  I know alot about the classics, and I own an SNES, NES, GB, and a GBA that I bought on my own!  All my friends have N64s, and I also own a cartoon episode, and several comics, including the ones that feature Fryguy High, and Koopa's High School Days.

P.S. I think Todd Begin is the bigest and best Mario fan here! long live the King of Shrooms, the Master of Stars, The Prince of .. err i cant think of anything else but Todd you truly are the greatest Mario Fan ever!! here are 3 reasons why...

1. He does not make up rumours and dumb ideas (cough Frostbite Hack)

2. he is not modest and says he is the best

3. and finally he plays Mario games not because of Grafix, not because of music or sound he plays them because they are FUN!

Todd: I have been with Mario since SMB on the NES, and I do know the current names for the Princess and the end boss, however I do not like and will not accept Peach as her name. This is because it is the Japanese name, and has only been used here in England more recently because Shigs didn't like the name Toadstool. Before he complained (about the era of SM64 or Yoshi's Safari) it was ALWAYS Toadstool here. I prefer that name, as it is the original from the good old NES days, hence I will continue to use it. Apparently Daisy is supposed to be the same person, but they got it wrong somewhere, but since they DID get it wrong they have capitalised on that by putting two princesses in the same game.

(Sorry, a bit off-topic)

Daisy is the princess of Sarasaland (you know, the desert kingdom from Super Mario Land 1...) Princess Peach Toadstool is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom.

I always thought that Daisy and Peach were cousins...

I also don't know why they made Daisy as the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom in the Mario Bros. movie! Everyone knows that Peach is the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom!

1.Snes
2.N64
3.Gamecube
3.Gameboy

I'm 18. My Mario playing days started with Super Mario Bros. I've played the older games (Donkey Kong and Mario Bros) but I can't really claim to have experienced them like I have all the other Mario games.

Sometimes people wonder why Mario games are my favorite games. Why don't I go for something more "mature" or "edgy"? I'll tell you why, because "mature", "edgy" games SUCK. They are meant for lamers that are ashamed to admit they love the bouncing Italian plumber. Poor twisted souls.

I'm 15. An I've been exposed to Nintendo since I came home from the hospital. My older brother would sit me in front of the TV and play the good ol' NES. Sure I may not be as old as some people, but it doesn't mean I'm not a hardcore Nintendo psycho! ;) I live for the classics!! In fact... I just finnished beating Mario1, MarioUSA, and Mario3 with my little sister. ;)
