I just thought of this... What if they actually made a mario game that didn't have any painting warp, or "M" warps, and Mario could actually ride Yoshi, or walk to other areas of the game. I sure hope Super Mario 128 is like that, because I'm tired of the paint.
Does anybody ever wonder why the Blue Toad in Super Mario Sunshine wanders off from the rest of the group?

Mario can ride yoshi in SMS.
And although it would be cool to be able to walk to other parts of the game, that would call for abandoning the concept of separate levels.

That was a joke.

Ah, but you musn't forget the warp pipes, Mario could be playable in the warp pipes, and be able to take Yoshi along with him, and fight enemies. By the way, if the princess is kidnapped again (a 99% chance), how do you think she'll be kidnapped?

In SMS they could of at least worked the fact that there were seperate levels into the game.  For example, they could of made the waves to high and the seas to rough for Mario to swim to park, but later after the canon is used they could of had the seas/wave calm so that he could swim there.  They would of even worked into the story by having shadow mario doing something to make the wave higher then when you defeat he or stop whatever he is doing the wave go down.

Just a thought.

It's still an amazing game. At least you can actually tell where you are instead of looking into a blurry texture a la SM64.

Umm... hey Luigison, your typing seems way different today than other days. Whuzzahh?

too tired.  i've spent to much time trying to get all 120 shines and max coins in sms.  i even called the new zelda game windwalker in another post. lol.

do you know where there is a list of the max coin count for sms.  i have 128 for the casino and 999 for the airstrip.  i am also still missing some blue coins so i don't have all the shines yet.

anyway, i agree sms is still a cool game.

Hmm... no, I don't know where you could find a list of all the coins...
Anyway, I still have to get three more shines... somewhere around 27 more blue coins. Ah well.

Get the "official" Super Mario Sunshine players guide from Nintendo. You can probably order it through Nintendo, or just buy it at a local magazine/games/book store.
People who like video games should also like Nintendo. People who don't like Nintendo obviously don't like video games.

Well you know chupp, if they made a real life like Mario game, then they could just stop the seperate levels. Mario could instead take a plane to a mountain, or they could kind of make the game like animal crossing. Mario could share a house with his brother, and Peach would be kidnapped on certain days, yoshi races, parties. I think Mario should be based on real time and days because it just sounds like a reasonable idea. This is just my opinion of course, so tell me what you guys think!

And you know, they could have go-kart races and have their very own olympics. This would be the ultimate Mario game, but I know this game will never exsist. Oh well, only one can imagine what the ultimate Mario game would be like. Why don't you guys give some ideas on what the ultimate Mario game would be like.

Your idea sounds cool, but then, the game would lose the "timeless" feel of most of the Mario games.
