HOW TO GET 73 1/2 SHINES

First, start up a game of SM64. Start a new game and get 73 stars in less than 2 hours. Then shut off your game and take it out of the N64. Smash it into tiny pieces with a sledge hammer. Put your SMS disk into the GameCube, but before you close it, sprinkle all the little pieces of the SM64 cartridge on top of the SMS disk. Then close the GameCube and turn it on. When the title screen pops up for SMS, you should have a saved file with 73 stars. Start the file and it will act like you started a new game and you get to fight the first piranha on the airstrip. But when you get the shine, it will say you have 73 1/2 shines! Then the next shine you get will raise your total up to 74! Then, you can beat the game like normal except at the end, when Bowser explains to his son about Peach, Bowser Jr. says, "I know Peach isn't my mother. But some day, ... I want to find that half-shine again!"

Go to Sirena beach 7th shine and kill all the boos imitating shadow mario.Then complete the episode as normal. When you exit the pipe a message will appear on the D.E.B.S that a mustached man with a vacumn cleaner has been spotted in the town central plaza. Go up to him and he'll turn out to be none other than luigi.Talk to him and you'll now be able to play the game as either mario brother.

Luigi(Relates to Doot-doot sisters one: After being thrown back to the mushroom kingdom, beat the game as the doot-doot sisters. After doing so, you will play as Mario. Walk towards the castle and go to the courtyard-like room. After walking through a hallway take the left door. You will see Luigi, who is playing Super Mario Sunshine. He asks you if you want to play.
Say yes, and the game starts all over again.
Complete this loop 128 times, and the last time Luigi will shout "GO AWAY MARIO I WANNA PLAY A DIFFERENT GAME!" And battle you. Beat him and he starts crying and volunteers to use the Poltergust 3000 to suck up all of the sludge. Then you get to play as him!

This is really quite sad.

Play as Spongebob

At the final fight with Bowser, puase the game and go to Dunkin' Doughnuts and buy all the glazed and frosted doughnuts. Eat them after you unpause the game and say "I'm Ready" for 5 times. Now you can play as Spongebob.

Play as Toad, unlock harder version of the game and have Wart as the final Boss.

First unlock luigi (using Sirena Beach method above) and defeat Bowser (getting all shines)with him. After the credits have finished reload your file and an extra game option will appear on the file menu and Toad will be unlocked.

Now play the extra game and instead of Bowser being the final boss, he will be replaced by Wart and a Giant Vegetable machine.

To defeat Wart use the FLUDD to knock veggies into his mouth 7 times.

How to ruin your game:
Cut your disc in half.

How to play as three-headed bowser:
Go to the flea market and buy a fake gameshark. Now use the fake game shark and play your game. It will be a huge glitch. You will see fuzz and the "Sludge" Mario. The bad mario flicks you off then the game goes back to normal.....but you can play as a three-headed bowser! But in three minutes the cheat will do the cheat "Ruin Game" automatically.

Play as Sheena

Get all 240 blue coins in the game and go to the shine gate in Delfino Plaza. You will find a goomba there who will ask you if you want to trade in 50 of your blue coins to go to a hidden area called Cascade Island. Respond by saying yes to the goomba. He will then take you to Cascade Island. At Cascade Island, you can find cameos from different Nintendo games, but your main task is to find Sheena. She is located in a hidden cove of the Cascade Golf Course. At the first hole, speak to Chef Torte to proceed. Go to the waterfall and enter it to find the hidden cove where Sheena is hiding. Sheena will be pleased that you have found her and will ask to take your place for awhile. Respond by saying yes and Sheena vanish in a puff of smoke. You will return to the title screen at that point, but you can play as Sheena. If you beat the game as Sheena, you can go to Cascade Island anytime for free as Sheena or Mario.

Play demo of mario 128

Unlock toad and then complete El Piantissimo's first challenge with more than 15 seconds remaining on the clock. After you do this you can play a demo of mario 128 from the file select screen. (under options)

The Book at the bottom of the Red Coin Bottle lets you play as Luigi!

In Super Mario Sunshine you can get the book at the bottom of the red coin bottle by getting all 51 gold coins then getting the shine sprite. After getting the shine you appear back in Noki Bay talking to the old man. He says something like, "I forgot that was in there. If you want I will sell it to you for 100 gold coins." After talking to him get at least 49 coins so that your total is 100. Do not get the shine sprite for 100 coins, instead talk to the old man again and he will take 100 coins and give you the book. He then says something like, "I am sure this/he will help." Then you are sent back to the pipe that enters Noki Bay from Delfino Island like normal. Push the Z button and now the book appears at the bottom center of the screen with the word Click! below it. Click on it and it shows the names of all the worlds like clicking on the shine does, except there are 30 dots for each world and blue coins for the ones you have already collected, and at the bottom it shows the total blue coins. Luigi will be waiting for you on top of the building with Yoshi. "You can play as Luigi!" Check out the screen shot and read below.

Spoiler: don't read any further unless you have tried it yourself. Hey, I said stop reading. Ha! Made you look. You really believed my fake game secret didn't you. Lol. I don't now what if anything the book does. I was going to get the shine after getting all 51 gold coins, but ran out of air because of taking the above picture. If you find anything to do with the book let me know.

Play any Game Cube Demo Disk on Super Mario Sunshine

Beat the game as Sheena then go to the Shine Gate where you found the goomba that took you to Cascade Island. He will be there like last time, but he will take you there for free. Say yes and the goomba will take you there as always. Once you're at Cascade Island, go to the Cascade Arcade located near the golf course. Talk to the koopa troopa in there and agree to help him find a person named Raine Sage and get the tattle log she has that the koopa wants. Raine is located near the Cascade Island Casino. Talk to her to get the tattle log and take to the koopa troopa in the arcade. He will reward you to play any Game Cube Demo Disk.

How to earn all the shines in one simple code: Either collect them all from completed the game 100%, or do this cheat!!!: First, take about 55 "no-Doze" pills to keep you up. This will take a few days. First unlock Spongebob and all the secret levels. Go to Bikini Bottom and Fight Plankton on the final battle of Sponge Bob. When Plankton says "youre going to give me that formula!!" pause the game. Now immediatly press XXXYYYZZZLRLRLRABBAARRLLRRRBBAARRXXXXRLBBY. Unpause, quit the game, erase that file. Get up to that point, and do the code 217 more times. Millions of messages saying "Got Shine" Will pop up on the final try. NOTE: This cheat does not save, and you will have to repeat it from your new blank file you erased.

Play as Birdo

After you beat the game as both Mario and Sheena, go back to Cascade Island as either one. Once you get there, the goomba tells you that there is a concert starting The Beetles. Once the concert starts, find a CD containing the song That Aint No Way To Treat a Lady and put it into your CD player. Once the CD is finshed playing it's music, The Beetles will come out and start playing their greatest hits. When they get to the song Knee Shell My Bell, pause the game and go find the nearest Comfort Inn near you and check in for one night. Go to your room in the Comfort Inn your in and you'll see that your Game Cube is there with you. Unpause the game the next day and have an egg sunny side up. Birdo will appear and start singing the song That Aint No Way To Treat a Lady and The Beetles will then get off stage and leave Cascade Island. You can now play as Birdo.

Play a demo of NEW Super Mario Bros. on your GBA.

First unlock Birdo as above and complete the game without getting hit once. If you do get hit, you have to erase your SMS data from your memory card (simply erasing the file won't work) and start again. Once you have sucessfully completed the above task plug a GBA into the 4th slot and you will find the demo under the options menu.
