Every so often, while on the forums, I see a really tiny blue-gray square sitting at the top-left corner of the page, to the left of the AD banners. If I click on it, it takes me to IGN.

What the heck??

Coincidentally, I opened up a window and saw that little box, and had just begun to wonder what it was when I realized that I had just opened up this topic.

I don't know what it's deal is.

I also noticed something...those ads that come up every once in a while(the ones that you have to refresh the page to get past) don't appear anymore. Hmm...are these occurences related?

So what's with the box though? They think that putting a tiny box which links to their site that appears randomly is gonna generate more hits on their site?
