I've always disliked Mario's SM64DS design, namely due to the fact that his features become blurry and pixelated when viewed from close-up.

Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

 Mario's come a long way in just the last 10 years graphics-wise.
I always figured "Time to tip the scales" was Wario's everyday motto.

Kind of creeping me out that Mario looks better in the Nintendo DS version than the Sunshine version. And the Mario cap looks weird from a head-on angle, you can't easily see the sticky-out part in the front.

We need Super Smash Bros, Smash Bros Melee, and Smash Bros Brawl versions of Mario superimposed into the pic as well.

Well, the DS version did come out after SMS, did it not?  But then again, MKDS's items looked worse than MK64's...

Also in favor of Smash Bros. comparisons, BTW.
