Who do you think should be in Super Smash Bros. Melee 2, asuming Nintendo will ever create it.

All the characters that are in SSBM (minus Pichu) plus some new characters such as Kamek, King Deedee, Wario, Diddy Kong, Birdo, Waluigi, a Hammer Brother, King K.Rool, a Kremling and a giant Blooper.

I think that FLUDD should be a new character. B-attack: squirt nozzle, Up-B: rocket nozzle, Down-B: hover nozzle, Smash-B: turbo nozzle. Kamekk would also be a nice addition

Some new items such as the POW blocks from SMB2 and the Vanish cap from SM64 would be nice as well.

Some new arenas such as inside Bowser's Castle would be nice.

Allow me to direct you to SSM which had that, then Mario Bros., which had them first.

Perhaps he meant POW blocks used in the manner of SMB2, that is, throwing them on the ground rather than punching them from below.

I've got some sweet ideas for a sequel. First, some of the new characters: Wario, King K. Rool, Diddy, Ditto (turns into characters already in the fight, otherwise just Pikachu), Mouser, Birdo, and the Hammer Bros., which I would call Spike and Mallet (they're like the ice climbers but they stick closer together and use team-up attacks).

New levels: K. Rool's ship and Race 2 the finish... in Giga Bowser's castle!

New items: Kuribo's shoe!!!

I've got plenty more but those are my favorite ideas.
