Considering the fact that this game has already been released (and sold over a million copies) in Japan, chances are Nintendo isn't taking any more character suggesstions...

For the NEXT Smash Bros. game, however...

Megaman (Classic or X; please no "Battle Network" version!)
Tails
Knuckles
Shadow (come on, Shadow is the coolest new Sonic character since Knuckles)
Revolver Ocelot (from MGS)
cybernetic Raiden (from MGS4)
Dante (from Devil May Cry)
Vergil or Nero (from Devil May Cry)
Tingle?

Did you just say it's horrible that all Melee characters except Mewtwo, Pichu, Dr. Mario, Roy and, depending on how you look at it, Link and Young Link are in Brawl?

It's my opinion that one Sonic character is more than enough. I wanted Liquid Snake to be a Subspace Emissary boss, though. "Die!"

I'd like to see in the next one (if there's going to be a fourth Smash Bros.)
Baby Mario and Baby Luigi
Bring Mewtwo back
Alternate Doctor lab coat for Mario (They let us choose between Wario's Biker outfit and his original attire, why couldn't Mario have his doctor lab coat as an alt costume, and sort of bring the Doc back?)
Knuckles for Assist Trophy
Megaman or Bomberman (but not both)
Samurai Goroh for playable character
More Metroid characters
Fawful for Assist Trophy
Sonic needs to be voiced by either Jaleel White or Ryan Drummond

imo, all of the supposed shoo-ins for this game will be in the next one. Here's my list of proposed newcomers:

Krystal (Star Fox)
Claus (Mother 3)
More Fire Emblem characters
Bowser Jr. (Mario)
K. Rool (DK)
Knuckles (Sonic)
Megaman (Megaman)
Samurai Goroh (F-Zero)
Black Shadow (F-Zero)
Ridley (Metroid)
Dixie Kong (DK, may as well)
Geno (Mario)
Waluigi (Mario)
Isaac (Golden Sun)
Someone from Animal Crossing
Captain N (as a WTD character)

King K. Rool (How does Kirby end up with 3 reps while Diddy is our only new DK character?)

Krystal (Because Fox clones suck)

Lyn (Assist Trophy is a complete slap to the face. Besides, even if the GBA Fire Emblem's aren't popular in Japan, the game she originates from did get a lot of attention in North America and Europe, and that's enough popularity to warrant an inclusion)

Dixie Kong (She was almost in Brawl)

Samurai Goroh or Black Shadow. Actually, any new F-Zero character would be welcomed, just because the series as a whole is overlooked.

An Advance Wars CO. Possibly Andy or Brenner.

The Power Glove.

I think putting in the Power Glove is a good idea, but perhaps not as a character; I could see it as one of four things:

1. Item that gives some new attack or boosts power
2. Assist Trophy
3. Power-up to Master/Crazy Hand :D
4. Weapon to Captain N? (if he gets in)

Like who? The only other Metroid "characters" I can even think of are either giant bosses or the one-shot other hunters from MPH and MP3, who definitely aren't worth wasting a roster spot on.

I suppose a shrunk-down Ridley would be the only barely okay choice.
