Don't.  The DS doesn't play GB/GBC cartridges.  Get a DS, but keep the SP so you can still play GB/GBC games with a light.

I always do that with games. They always drop to $20 in like six months. What is up with that? You don't see movies or books pulling those stunts.

(Big name Mario games don't usually drop, though, unless they hit Player's Choice.)
