We're finally getting high-speed internet at my house! Verizon apparently decided, after about five years, that if they were going to keep sending us ads for their service, maybe they should actually offer it in our area. Now if EarthBound gets VC'd over the summer, I won't have to sneak the Wii into the library and borrow their wi-fi to download it.

We hadn't worked the whole thing out yet, but there is a TV in there, and if it was a slow enough day, it probably would have been open. The librarian probably would have been cool with it, too. In fact, you can actually borrow Wii games from that library just like books and movies, so I doubt she would have looked down on it for not being a book.

Ha! I'm already done with finals! All I have to do now is put together a 5-minute video with After Effects, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro, and various other cool Apple programs for my final project. (Before anyone says anything, I know AE and PS are Adobe) And it's Mario-related. Well, "related" is kind of an understatement. I'll probably post it up here when it's finished.

I'm happy because yesterday I bought a Vox Valvetronix AD30VT amplifier at Guitar Center. The first one I got, we took home, plugged in, turned on, and then, it started making some pop-sizzle-type noises and started smoking. So we took it back right before the store closed and got another one. This one works perfectly, and sounds great.

So um we got a dog.

A Cocker Spaniel, goes by the name of Sam, according to my brother and his girlfriend, who got the dog.

Speaking of the girlfriend, she's moving in with us, so the family has now doubly jumped the shark. It first jumped over the summer when my sister's boyfriend moved in.
