Kitto katsu? A sure win? I've never heard that used as a stand in for the time honored "gu'rakku."

Already working on another package from the same guy in Japan. Going to include two Touhou T-shirts (one for me, one for my sister as a birthday present), more Japanese candy, and some ramen bowls. If we can win an auction with a low enough price, I'll also be getting a very cheap Japanese retail copy of Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable.

Also, he let me know about the Kit Kat flavors in the package I already got (clockwise from top-right):
-wasabi (yessssss)
-pumpkin pudding
-"Chinese Dessert" (almond jelly)
-"Adult Taste" (dark chocolate)
-vanilla ice cream
-raspberry

Yes, I knew someone would point it out. I blame Japan.

Wrong! It's "adult's sweetness," that... oh...

...in any case, it's a level of sweetness geared for "adults." I remember a few chocolate products branded as "men's" that do the same thing.

Yeah, there's no way to translate it that makes it sound any less horrible.

At least there isn't a "kid's" equivalent...I hope.

If it's suggestive in any way, there's a "kid's" equivalent in Japan.

So instead of getting a very cheap Japanese copy of Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, I got a free copy of the US version from a Facebook giveaway. I'm really happy with this.

So the real world doesn't suck quite as much as I thought.

That's actually a good post to quote every so often I think.

OBJECTION!

But that is awesome! Congrats!

Not that I don't have a lot to be hopeful for, but I don't have much to comment about right now: wife, current kids, coming kid.. everybody is doing fine. What more could I ask for.
