PhotoshopBy increasing the exposure time and decreasing the camera's light sensitivity, then making you move halfway through the exposure, the camera records two ghostly images of you. I assume this is the particular trick he used?
Remember that your first Goomba boldly you walk? When Mario touched that mushroom being brought up more largely remember that you are surprised? Miscalculate your jump that pit remember that it falls?

Yes. He had me change position as he shined a flashlight on me in an otherwise completely dark room. And he used long exposure.
