Mario Maniac-That's not right. Nintendo intended for "Yoshi's Island" to take place after "Super Mario World." Plus you can see (adult) Mario and Princess Toadstool at the end if you stick through the credits.

famous Mario we know today. That's what Nintendo thought it up as.
