Okay, I've got 7 people so far. I'm leaning towards 10, though more is okay.

1. Geno
2. Yoshi
3. Mario
4. Peach
5. Super Goomba
6. Wario
7. Captian Paratroopa

All this time Mario was sleeping in his bed. When he heard Peach's screams for help, he of course responded by getting up, tripping on the stairs of his house, and falling into the waterfall that just appeared all of a sudden. Not that he was upset.

Mario Chat / The underated Toad
« on: May 26, 2001, 04:54:24 PM »
Toad's really not that well respected in the Mario world, ain't he? I mean he got some good roles in SMRPG and SMB2, but I think he should help out the Mushroom Kingdom more(meaning, he should be in more games in starring roles!), even though he was the star in Wario's Woods...
Oh yeah, I plan to have a special for this on my website soon...check the site below for updates...

Mario Chat / Can Mario survive? And Nintendo for that matter?
« on: May 15, 2001, 07:46:25 PM »
Well, right now, there are three competitors in the console gaming market, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft(If you didn't know, Sega has since pulled out, but they will make games for other systems). I feel like this will wage a video game war. Why, you ask? Each competitor has enough to fight against each other, and make it so the video game market may sink a bit, and maybe even start a third video game crash (the last being in 1984). Now I may sound too harsh, but this MAY happen. Of course, the video game market may prosper in the next few years. We just don't know. It would effect Mario, that's for sure, and other mascots.

What's your opinion of this? Do you think that we will have a second Reinnisance from the three competitors, or a collapse of the video game market? Be sure not to yell or rant on for no reason, since I won't like it.

Of course, I know the whole story about Doki Doki Panic/Super Mario Bros. 2(j). TMK did a good job talking about it. But our SMB2 was released in Japan in 1992 as Super Mario USA. Well, at least I got to D-4 on the Lost Levels...

Video Game Chat / Re: Poll: Favorite Nintendo Console
« on: June 27, 2000, 12:29:36 PM »
I like them all except the Virtual Boy. That wasn't a very good system...
Mario games were pretty good on the SNES. That was pretty much the system we had at my house since 1993, then I got my GBP(Game Boy Pocket) in 1996, then the N64 in 1998...my family did have a NES before the SNES, but I didn't play it too much. We had Super Mario Bros...it brings back memories...

Oh yeah, the N64 has the best multiplayer in the market. GoldenEye 007 is THE BOMB when it comes to multiplayer.

So in summary, all Nintendo Systems good except Virtual Boy. That sucked.

Mario Chat / Re: Paper Mario info

I think Paper Mario is gonna be a sweet game. It at least has some SMRPG elements in it. Turn-based battles, timed hits(at least according to Nintendo), the 7 stars, etc. I am going to probably buy this game when it comes out, but the only bad(not that bad)thing about it is the name of the game. I prefered Super Mario Adventure.

Mario Chat / Re: What's the WORST Mario game ever?
« on: June 20, 2000, 11:31:57 AM »
The worst Mario game I have ever played is Mario's Time Machine. First of all, it was educational. Second, I don't think Mario interacting with Franklin, Columbus, etc., would be right. And third, there is no use for jumping. The best part about the game(All of the game sucks anyway)was when you were surfing to a moment in history, collecting mushrooms.

(singing)Everybody's gone surrrrfffffing, surfing TMK!

Interesting! I've also found another beta screenshot. It's on the back of the Super Mario 64 game box. It just shows Mario fighting Bowser.

Mario Chat / Re: Another Mario Kart game?
« on: June 19, 2000, 12:55:02 PM »
You're right about it being hard to think up new tracks. That would be a challenge, but on Super Mario Kart, many of the tracks were sorta taken from Super Mario World. I would think that we could take ideas from the latest Mario games and make them into tracks.

As for other things like characters and items, I don't think that would be to hard. We could keep most of the original drivers, and maybe make a new one. For items, we could just take from different Mario games.

I dunno. I really like the Legend of Zelda Series, and DK64 is fun too...

I just got GoldenEye yesterday(June 9th), and it is pretty darn fun. I just don't know which non-Mario game is the best...

Well, there's the message board, and then there's a lot of stuff on the main page that's pretty cool(Congrats, Deezer!).

We all know that you are more than a doll. You are the guardian of the Star Road. You also have some cool attacks up your sleeve. Hope you can handle it!

Video Game Chat / Re: Pokemon, is it really as dumb as you think?
« on: June 10, 2000, 02:45:29 PM »
I don't like most things about Pokemon, but I like playing the Game Boy game! The cards are sorta ok, but not really.

By the way...I would of gotten that Miyamoto question right. I noticed that too.
