Not at the Dinner Table / Re: For or Against?

There you go again.  Saying that I am the one that is wrong even though I am the only one that speeks logic.  We are too different to get along.  So are you going to ban me or what?  Sheesh!

Let's look at God's Plan.  According to the Christian religion, God has planned every birth and every death before it has happened.

God must plan a lot of murders to kill people, and he has planned all abortions.  Yet Christians fight abortions and don't one of the Ten Commandments tell you not to murder?  God must plan a lot of rapes too in order for his birth plans to go into affect.

This means that everybody on the planet must just be a simple puppet that God cruelly controls.  Everything is already set in place.  If everything is already planned then prayer would be even more meaningless then it already is now.

God's plan is impossible because God is imaginary.

But some people are to blind and unwilling to listen to the truth.  They are too thick skulled to realize that the Bible is just one big cruel story that doesn't make any sense at all.  A story that tells people to believe what isn't true.  The Bible is a fairy tale.

Off topic: I am not here to stay.  This topic is very important right now so I thought that I would say what I felt.  I hate religion. I really do.  It causes so many problems and hatred tword people.  None of your little Bible quotes are going to change me either because I don't believe in fairy tales.  If you believe in God then why not unicorns, witches, and centuars?  But if it is in a book that was written thousands of years ago then it must be true!  If you don't take the Bible literally then you don't believe in God.  If you take it literally then you are a fool that believes in a fairy tale.

On topic: Gays should be allowed to get married without having to go to another country like Cananda, the UK, Netherlands, Spain, etc.  One state isn't going to cut it either.  Marriage should be a civil right.

P.s.:  I do not think all Christians are evil.  Or any other person who practices a religion.  I was just saying what was in the Bible.  Which it is all in the Bible.  Reread it a bit closer next time.

The Bible: Have you ever actually sat down and read that thing?  There is so much hate in it that God supports!

God supports just about everything evil.  Anyone that has read the Bible knows that the Bible states that "the law of the Lord is perfect."-Psalm 19:7

According to these laws, we are supposed to kill millions of people:
-kill everyone that works on Sunday
-Kill teenagers who dissobey their parents
-Enslave people from other nations
-Oppress women
-Kill anyone that happens to be homosexual
-The list goes on

An intelligent person does not believe in a god or gods.  He can clearly see that all religion is a cult put out there by primitive men that did not have any scientific answers on how the world works.

An interesting note:
In Greek Religion, a handful of the gods were gay or bisexual!  Zeus in fact was bisexual!  Sadly, Christianity is the most popular cult that practices hatred and oppression.

Okay I'm leaving now.  In fact I would like to be banned so I wont be entised to ever come back here again.  This will be better for me all the way.  I can't be around here any longer with people who don't understand me.  Okay I'm ready: Please ban me!  (I'm not kidding.)  As a final wish I would like all of my topics and polls concerning the environment and politics to be locked if that is not to much to ask.  Goodbye!  Fairwell!  Until we meet again! (That will never happen.) Goodbye! Goodbye! Goodbye!

I think I might leave the forums.  That would probably be best not only for others, but for me too.

unintelligent for not seeing as plainly what you do. When you give an opinion, you should back it up (the more extreme your opinion is, the more backing you generally need), and not condescend upon others when they disagree with you.

Agrees with the first part but I guess I can allow everyone to be unintelligent.  Back it up.  That is only what I have been doing this whole time for heaven sake.  Let's go back to those times shall we?

Let's start with the vegetarian argument that got started:
On June the 7th I had this too say about myself so people would get too know me better:
Quote
I never eat animals because I think it is morally wrong since humans were made to be herbivores, so for dinner I usually have something vegetarian.  Last night I had safe spagetti.

By saying this I wasn't trying to shove my beliefs in anybody elses face.  However, something happened.  A few people critized me way of life.

There is no reason to not eat meat, it tastes good.

Then I started to defend my views from there on out with simple facts blah, blah, blah.  And then the very snide remarks came which really made me angry and more defensive and unforgiving of other people and their cruel minds.

And so on.......

When I became new here I create a post that would hopefully better everone's life.  It was called 'Help Change The World!'  Here you could report on what you were doing for other people, the animals, and the environment.       NOBODY HARDLY EVER REPLIED TO IT!  What does that tell you?  It tells you that you can't critisize me for being kind.  Someone that does nothing to help cannot critisize ME for doing everything in my power to spread the word on what you can do to help.  But no, nobody cares.  Nobody cares about me or anything else.

Why not? I want to live the rest of my life happy, not uncomfortable. I mean I'd rather live a short happy life than a long miserable one.

Being energy efficient it not uncomfortable.  Of course you could always make it uncomfortable but it doesn't have to be.  Your being silly.  And remember: This isn't all about you.

Luigison: First off, you get 100 points for having a hybrid and 50 points for recycling.  Second, even though using electricity is curently bad for the environment, I think as long as you use it resposibly (i.e.  using things when they are on like your computer etc.) it isn't your fault.  Same thing with the water.  Just support solor power etc. when you can.
P.S.  Don't worry about the farmers at the moment.

My air conditioner is set at 67°, with 2 fans inside of it blowing.
That is much too low.  You are making Earth even more not enjoyable.  Thanks.  Thanks for destroying future generations and making this problem even more difficult than it already is.

I have only my fan and my window. No air conditioning, just heat.

You people are great!  20 points!

solidmushroom: No, no, no, no, no, no.  We will never get anywhere with that attitude!  Remember, at the end of the day we should not get too discouraged.  What you do is only part of the equation.  That was true.  But every little bit helps!  Governments are the real stoppers of this, but that doesn't mean we are off the hook.  Even if your theory is correct, does that mean we should just go on polluting?  Of course not!  Stay on track and never lose focus.
