Woahh...It was a lot easier to get a new user name since I forgot my old password.  I'm glad this place is still black and gray.

Well go to the Look and Layout Preferences, on your profile. and you can change the boards look, it also changed the buttons back, at least for me.

Oh man.  I changed the board theme and nothing happened.  But thanks for the suggestion.  Is there something else I should try? Right now I feel like a noob again XD

I'm having the same problem as Yoshisaurus Rex.  I can see the smiley buttons (and avatars, for that matter) when I use the Simple Machines Forum theme, but not when I use the Fungi Forums theme.  I want the look of the Fungi Forums theme, but I want to be able to use smiley buttons.  I was able to use smiley buttons earlier with the Fungi Forums theme...did someone change the theme?
