Just a pet peeve of mine:

"GameBoy ADVANCED"
"Super Mario ADVANCED"

Though the GBA has been out for about 7 years(?) now, people STILL can't seem to comprehend the fact that there's no D in "Advance". Friends of mine pronounce it as if it were past tense, and it just drives me crazy.

A guy in my math class back when I was a sophomore in high school was named Marco, and it took a lot in my power not to call him "Markio".

And I always thought of "Sapphira" a lot in band whenever I talked to my fellow hornist in high school, named "Sappir", which is, coincidentally, Hebrew for Sapphire.

I just saw the TV spot for a movie called Meet the Spartans. Wow. It's a crappy ripoff of Epic Movie, which was a crappy ripoff (spinoff?) of Scary Movie, which stole jokes from various other movies in the name of parodying a bunch of movies that were old by then. I mean, this movie looks about as funny and relevant as Conker's bad Fur Day. Seriously, Matrix and Star Wars parodies? What is this, 2000?
