Just to let you know, you weren't annoying me. I just thought it'd be easier for you if you just get the Player's Guide so you wouldn't have to wait for answers.
Try to make your own creative ways of beating enemies and see if they work just for fun. I like to use different combinations in the game such as the bonuses when you level up and the party formation to see how I do. I always keep Peach in my party though.
The Quartz Charm is useful against Smithy if you put it on Peach, but I like the Safety Ring more.
Too bad you can't put 3 accessories on one character at a time like in Chrono Cross.
