Dear god, I need to post this quickly and get out of here so I can stop looking at this HORRIFICALLY UGLY FORUM.

Splosion Man was a god-tier platformer. If you played it, you know it's true. If you didn't, you're probably scoffing. Here's the sequel.

Can't comment much on anything else out this week, but GB Qix is excellent.

This is a few weeks (months) late, but I finally cracked open the XBLA game Outland from a while ago. It's a very smooth platformer with interesting, Ikaruga-esque game mechanics and gorgeous art and color. So far, I approve.

Yeah, I think that entire week on XBLA was supposed to be good stuff. It also had Nin²-Jump, a platformer from shmup devs Cave, and Trouble Witches Neo!, a home port of an arcade port of a pretty good PC doujin shmup. I'll be buying all three when I eventually get a 360.

Outland is a metroid, not a platformer.

And Netflix has come to the 3DS. Now I can have another system with a friends list 90% full of people watching Netflix.

Having played it extensively, I can confidently call Ms. Splosion Man the best coop platformer ever made. Name something better.

P.S. Horrible Bosses is the first great comedy of 2011. Don't miss it. It gives Your Highness some of these, Bridesmaids some of those, Bad Teacher some of these, and especially The Hangover Part II some of these and this.

No Metroid II still, but Netflix on the 3DS means I can let it slide for this week.

Give it up. The game you want on the VC (be it Wii or 3DS VC) will come.. eventually. :B
Kinopio is the ultimate video game character! Who else can drive a kart, host parties, play tennis, give good advice and items, and is almost always happy??

If you don't own a 360, I hope you like dancing.

Soundgarden – “Outshined”
Soundgarden – “Rusty Cage”

I think it's time to setup my PS3 Rock Band again.  Anyone have a Best Buy real guitar to sell?
