Okay, but then when the government decides long hair is bad personal grooming and violates their conduct of personal hygiene, thus forcing you to get a buzzcut, you'll be in an uproar.

Yeah I actually started out with a smirk on my face, but when I saw that last panel, it just sank completely into a frown.

Ohh, gotcha. My bad. It went right over my head, so I was seriously confused by it. I didn't get it since they didn't actually change that classificiation up until the late 80s I believe.

To save myself time, I'm gonna map it out in standard logic form like this.

-The definition of a mental illness is any mental state that impairs one's normal cognitive, emotional, or behavioral functioning.

-Ignoring alternative lifestyle advocacy, the normal behavioral human functioning is to be heterosexual, simply because humans as a species (or any sexually reproducing lifeform) could not physically exist without it being a normal function.

-Homosexuality is a naturally occurring mental state that a human is born with.

-Despite the fact you can adopt a child or use artificial insemination, hypothetically a human's normal behavior (i.e. reproducing) cannot take place if they are homosexual, simply because they will never be able to have children.

-Therefore, because homosexuality, a mental state, interrupts the normal course of human behavior, it matches the definition of a mental state.

Now before I'm branded a homophobe or someone restates I lived in the 1950s(???), you have to realize this is a purely logical argument. I'm not stating that gays are bad people or that they should be deprived of the rights or normal people, I simply believe it's foolish to ignore sound facts simply to appease the group associated with it. Temporary Anxiety is classified as a mental illness. I occasionally suffer from bouts of anxiety. Do I like the fact you could tell me I have a mental illness and be correct? Not really, and a lot of people wouldn't just because it has a negative connotation typically. However, that doesn't mean anxiety shouldn't be classified as a mental illness anymore.

Legalizing weed can't be applied to legalizing things like cocaine. The two aren't even remotely comparable. A drug that is already used widespread by mainstream society that poses longterm health risks to you but has presents no real danger to anyone around you... versus... a drug that is only abused by hardcore drug addicts that can severely harm you in just a matter of months that can literally turn you into a menace of society... It's like trying to look at a house cat and a tiger in the same line. Yeah they're both felines, but we never made it legal to have tigers as pets.

I just don't see why everyone has such a hard time grasping this concept though. If weed is legalized, it will still harbor a taboo. People who never wanted to aren't going to rush out to become potheads.
You do realize I don't smoke weed, right? I'm stating that people smoke weed for the purpose of feeling good and having extra fun in the same way that people drink alcohol. I'm not defending them or saying that they're right in smoking weed. I just believe that if they want to live their lives like that, they should have the right to do so. Do you also think the government should impose regulations on your dress code and personal hygiene as well? (Fun fact, they already are, in some places.) It's not simply "Taxes = good." It's a matter of you having the freedom to be a listless ******bag.

Yeah, $500, $700, it doesn't matter. It's the point of spending hundreds of dollars. Once you go over $200, it's all the same ballpark.

I dunno, some of their lines are pretty clear. Examples like Mona saying "Cool! Awesome!" and "Hey! Hurry up!" or 9-Volt saying "You got it!"

When Cheaper? The original game's been out for years. You can find it at a number of places for like $5 bucks.

Yeah WarpRattler, I didn't mention it here, but my ultimate goal really is to get a Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Pac-man, or Mario Bros. arcade cabinet. Of course, as Chupperson said it's very expensive, and even more difficult to come across. Hell, if you wanted to go on eBay for them, you'd be spending upwards of $700 most likely. I think once I look at my collection and go "yep, this is pretty good.", that's when I'll start looking for arcades.

Oh and in today's news I bought a ROB and got a Comodore 64 keyboard from my friend. He works at Best Buy and said a customer brought it in trying to get a refund for it. (???)

Oh yeah, Wii Crap. I heard about that one at E3. It's coming out in November, and it's bundled with Motion Plus. Even with that though, some of the bonus games have too much waggling in it.

What the hell piece were you playing that callled for 32nd notes on a tuba? I've never seen 32nd notes on any brass instruments other than trumpets, and even then there were usually triplets or trills, rather than long runs.
