Mario Chat / Luigi's Mansion and SSB Melee

WHat did evrytone think of Luigi's Mansion? I thought it was really a great game, I saw the whole game played through, even though I didn't get to play. I let my brother play the whole thing since his Luigi fandom is equal to my Mario fandom, which, if you can tell, is a lotta fandom. We beat it once, and didn't do so well. We tried again and piled enough money up to get a Rank B mansion, which was pretty neat. Did anyone get a Rank A? If so, what does the mansion look like? The Rank B Mansion was pretty nice, so I was wondering how much nicer it could get. Did anyone else notice that once you beat the game you have a small golden star in the corner of the screen? There's a few differences in the game, too.

Who else agrees that Super Smash Brothers Melee is one of the greatest games of all time? Seriously. The graphics are close to perfect. It's fun as hell, and there's a ton of stuff to do. My favorite character is, of course, Mario/Dr. Mario. I'm also pretty good with Link, Kirby, and Mewtwo. I've got all the characters and stages, and about 220 trophies. If anyone wants any help that you can't seem to find elsewhere, go ahead and ask me.

Uh, I haven't been here in a while so I was scrolling down the topics of the past and I found a message posted by "Super Mario" that wasn't mine. I've had Super Mario, as like, a postname, for a couple years at the least. I'm guessing this guy used an ALT+Space, or something. I was kind of annoyed by it, since I didn't want people confusing me with anyone else. Anyways, just thought I'd say that.

Mario Chat / Corruption and other stuff.

Well, it's been a while, but I think I'll post a new topic now.

Has anyone else's N64 had this thingy pop up on the screen: "WARNING! Due to corruption, all saved data will be erased!"? It's really confusing... I just wondered.

Also, does anyone know the exact date the GameCube should be coming out? And like, how much it's gonna cost...?

Anyways, let me see here. Ahh, yes! What is everyone's reason for choosing their character in Mario Kart 64, and why?

I like Mario because he's sort of All-Around... his turning isn't too bad, he's fast when he needs to be...dependable, like that old sweater your grandmother gave you on that one white christmas...*smacking sound, kicking sounds*. Anyways, that's all fo' now... the Kong Korporation lives on! (For information on what "the Kong Korporation" is, just ... uh, ask?)

Did anyone else here figure out that you could hold B to make Kirby constantly inhale really late after buying the game? I did, and I felt kinda stupid. Also, wouldn't it be helpful if you could walk after inhaling someone? I just thought about that... hm.

Hey, I didn't tell you guys, but I'm-a back from New York. And, I have a buggy little question for you. Anyone here ever get really far in Paper Mario because you weren't having trouble, got low on healing items, didn't save it since like two chapters back, and then die on something like a Fuzzy? It's enough to make you toss a chair across the room, huh!? Now, my example was a teeny bit exagerated, but hey, we all know the feeling, right? I'm not saying that I'M absent minded enough to have that happen but--er--uh--hey! What do you mean I'm talking from experience!? *runs off crying*

Anyone ever go to that Mario Mania page off of the world of nintendo or something and read the fanfic called Mario's Highschool Days by Toasty? That was one of the coolest fan fics I've ever read, plus the whole topic of Yoshi and Kirby eating everything in sight was just hillarious.

Who's your favorite Paper Mario boss/level?

I always liked Forever Forest/Gloomy Gulch and the whole "Invincible" Tubba Blubba storyline because it always seemed a lot more deep than the others in the game, except for the Bowser fight, of course.

I'm sure by now you're all getting sick of my new topics, and I think the rules say no site advertising, but maybe for a bumbling fool like me they'll let this one slide? Anyways, I have a Mario RPG that I've had for about a year now, my brother Luigi (Adam) and I (Lee [Mario] ) made. I recently erased the 15 or so members we had because they had stopped participating. I want to make my dream happen again, so I want the lot of you Mario fiends (not meant insultively) to go and check it out at http://supershroom.cjb.net. It's not the best graphic wise in the world, but I update faster than you can blink, plus it has all Mario songs and allows any Nintendo character. I am, of course, Mario, and my brother is Luigi. I'd like some real hardcore fans with plenty of or some time to join so I can start it again. All the message board posts got erased because it's been more than 60 days since the last post was posted. I'd really appreciate some feedback on my site and maybe some-a joinin' *nervous laugh*. Just remember, I'm a huge fan, so you can count on me to never delete it!

Isn't it kinda funny, in Gloomy Gulch, when they talk about Harold being such a "dark and depressing Boo"? I wonder, if I was a Boo, would they shun me if I wasn't all gloomy? What about the rest of you? If you were a Boo, would you be all gloomy and such? It might be cool to be a Boo, eh? You know what gets on my nerves...? How in the great Paper Mario, it calls the Bloopers, "Blooper", and in Mario Party 3 the level is "Deep Bloober Sea". So, which is right? Sure, I could go look it up, but hey, I just love conversing with you fans--erm--fellow message board scavangers ^_^;;. I bet all these new topics are getting annoying...but...well, too bad! Bwahahahahaha! Oh, and uh, if you were a Shy Guy, which one would ya be? A Fly Guy? A Fry Guy? Anti-Guy? What color? All of this matters to me! It really does. I know I've got some more useless questions around here somewhere...er...oh well, there's always my replies.

... Someone...pull...me...from this madness...for as I take...my last breath...I still might not...know........why is Mario's hair brown and his moustache black!?!? Agh! It's driving me totally bonkers! Mama mia, and me, a huge huge huge huge HUGE! Mario fanatic, doesn't know. I should be smacked with a large, wooden board. (So I can catch it with one hand and say some cool line to the villain and then break it and and whip out mah Wing Cap!)

- Your almost-insane-from-this-question friendly Message Board postin' Mario fanatic dude named Lee that has been here a while and not posted and is leaving for New York in about ten minutes and wants to stay with you guys you're my soon-to-be good friends!

Also! Isn't it funny, Mario has a hat because the first Mario game couldn't generate hair, he has a moustache so you could tell he had a nose, and a mouth couldn't be generated, he has suspenders so you can see his arms, gloves so you can see his hands, and so on! And his image stuck! I bet you all knew that, but did you all know that the first Mario comic book was called Pipe Down!? I bet a third of you didn't! Hahahhahahahahahahaha! The King of Koopas! Mario Chat / Bowser's Diary.

Anyone who likes Paper Mario as much as me probably got the chance to read Bowser's diary. Did any of you feel strangely about it? It made Bowser seem less menacing and more like an ambitious, misunderstood person who you should feel bad for. It almost made you wonder... is Bowser only like he is because of his constant defeats? Who should we really be rooting for...Mario...or Bowser? I know it's a silly question, but I was almost happy when Bowser won a fight with Mario, finally, after reading the diary. Then again, Mario is my favorite and always has been, so I'm not gonna become some Koopa Krazie or anything.

Next part of this topic: What about Luigi's diary!?

Well, if you do, anyone know where I'd be able to purchase those  at a reasonably low price, and get a nice little plastic wrapping with a cute little bow and--ack, I'm rambling... mama mia. Hey what is everyone's favorite Mario/Luigi game?? Mine would have to be SMB3 for the SNES (All Stars) and SSB for N64. Also, just incase anyone cares, my favorite cap in SM64 is the Wing Cap...I even have a little plush wing cap Mario! Waha! I posted! Bye now...
