Because he's human. We all have our flaws, and while I won't defend his earlier actions, we all make mistakes.

You're right, as Marioguy, he hadn't gained any respect. Yet, he's willing to try now. If we were to get rid of him now, we won't ever have the chance to give him our respect.

Try to put yourself in his situation for a moment. I would definitly hope someone would be offering me another chance.

Can you say that for certain? One learns from experience, that's how we grow. It seems to me he's also learned a lot, from how he acted. Which to me, means more than what he actually did before.

And yes, had Grimsack actually shown that he was willing to change, than I would welcome him back.

I agree with both of BM's posts.

If anyone should have ever been banned here it should have been me when I edited others posts and then spilled the secret and others did that same. That caused a lot of problems here for a while, but I quickly changed my position when I noticed the harm I (and others) had caused and promised only to edit posts (and other things) for the good of the forum. Others also promised to be good. I/we was/were never banned, nor do I recall anyone suggesting that I/we be. I think this board is actually a better place now because of that bad time we went through. We know have HTML without many harmful scripts. We have active mods.

Again, I second BM's posts.

Hmm... remember how many times he's said "I'll act good now, I promise!" It's got to be at least 10 by now, give or take a time or two. Listen, you can't keep forgiving him. Then a month later when he starts up again, and people get angry at him, he'll say he's sorry again.

I don't know what's more sad; the fact that Sadib keeps saying he'll stop or the fact that people actually defend him.
