Author Topic: Why Ashley!?  (Read 2724 times)

« on: February 09, 2005, 10:54:52 PM »
Ok, this is referring to the people at Nintendo who added Ashley into the new Wario Ware game, Wario Ware, Touched!
When I mentioned this in the chat, Deezer made a great point saying that Nintendo may be trying to phase out Waluigi.
I don't see the use of creating a new character, while the star character's brother is missing out.

Tell me what you think.

I think that Waluigi is a bit more reclusive than the WarioWare games would require him to be. Think about it: every single person in those games is always trying to grab attention. With the exception of Orbulon, I suppose. But Waluigi has always been depicted as more of a shady character. It leads you to think he's off doing various acts of mischief, especially when you think about the cursed Waluigi's Island from Mario Party 3 (desruction of Luigi's constructions for mysterious purposes).

I was speaking more hopefully than insightfully.

Am I the only one that wants Waluigi kept as an official character?

Most likely.

they didnt use Waluigi because they are planning a top secret game starring Waluigi and they dont want Waluigi doing so much at once

I like Waluigi. Not as much as Wario, but I would be kind of sad to see him go. Especially after so many games that have him as a playable character.

They should make a WatoadWare game that would come with a collectable mushroom hat so that you would only look like "a" fool of the century.
