I think now they're going for a clay model-ish look, seeing as that same bump map is applied to almost literally everything. But... it's kinda lazy-looking...

Would've been cool if the actual art team's fingerprints were all over the bump maps instead

You think they're gonna go for a stop motion, gumby kinda feel for some of it? That'd be pretty interesting.

Story Time

When I was perhaps 8 years old, a made a sonic spin off character named Lightning who was basically exactly Sonic, but green and a good mechanic. I was so proud of that terrible OC until I googled the name and discovered that someone else had already made a green hedgehog named Lightning. When I was 8 this made me sad. In retrospect, it's mostly funny how trite and predictable Sonic fan characters are.

Red Hot Rumble is ttttttttttterrible. At least, it sure as heck isn't a fighting game. It's got all these phases during the "fight" where you have to collect diamonds or fight bad guys or whatever. If you're wanting a Viewtiful Joe fighting game (and you do, even if you don't know what Viewtiful Joe is), this isn't it.

This is why Marvel vs Capcom 3 exists. To spam Voomerangs.

I heard it wasn't, but that wouldn't stop me from buying it because I love Viewtiful Joe enough to not really care about the quality of a spin off title.
